I really like that the balm has eco-friendly packaging! The consistency of the balm is snow-white, free from any fragrances and dyes. The texture of the balm is dense, rich, nourishing. I use the balm once a day on the whole body after a shower. The skin is well hydrated and nourished. Irritated areas gradually calm down and pass. I noticed that the body stopped itching. Awful New Formula

Why did LRP ever change the original formula? This new formula is just awful. The moisturizer never fully sinks in and my hands are SO much drier than when I was using the original balm formula. The moisturizer does not calm my skin or give it enough moisture to heal the way the old formula did. I stopped using it for a week and I saw no difference in the condition of my skin- still dry, flakey, irritated, chapped, and uncomfortable. The moisturizer is extremely slick to the touch (slick in the way that Crisco is) but it somehow leaves a terrible sticky/tacky residue that doesn’t leave unless I wash my hands. It smells bad too, like a strong plastic scent. I can’t use it on my body and it is completely unsuitable for use on my chapped hands. After a long time of dedicated use on my sensitive, chapped skin while dealing with contact allergies, I now have to search for another moisturizer. I truly used the old formula daily throughout the day because it helped me SO much and IMPROVED the condition of my skin days after application. I cannot stress enough to anyone looking to try this moisturizer that is is a total waste of money for anyone of any skin type. The dermatology practice and allergy practice I go to agrees, and they both recommended the original formula to me. This is an expensive product that I used to be happy to spend my money on. In the unlikely event that LPR brings back the original balm formula that this replaced, I unfortunately won’t be buying LPR products again.

Fantastic moisturizer, A+++

This is a fantastic moisturizer. It is rich and emollient, better if used post shower when the skin still moist for an easy application and better skin absorption. This is my preferred method and it works well for me :)! I have normal to dry sensitive skin and suffer from eczema. This product provides protection without irritation and I am beyond thankful for it. Some reviewers have stated the formula has changed, in my case I’ve noted no such change, my skin still loves it and I’m very happy with the product. I would highly recommend this A+++ moisturizer.

Love this moisturizer but bottle & pump are awful!

I love this moisturizer. It cured the KP on my upper arm and is great all over. But the bottle and pump are atrocious. I would give the cream 5 stars and the container 1 star.Once you finish about half the bottle, the pump stops working, and the cream is too thick to get out of the small mouth of the bottle. I've gone through a couple bottles already and I've ended up having to cut the bottles open to get the last 1/3 to 1/2 out of the container.Please redesign the container for this miracle cream!!!

Miracle product for face and body

Product is non irritating and acne prone friendly!Now, in all honesty this cream does have a little smell to it and it will leave your skin rather oily like/sticky but I am not complaining! (Perfect night cream). I personally much rather deal with a couple minuscule imperfection than the alternative of painful suffering skin.This has replenished my skin beautifully with no irritation or acne breakouts and I’m very satisfied.Thank you La-Rochey Posay!

Miss Old Formula

This product has a new formula. I am heartbroken the previous formula is not available for purchase. For me, it feels like a completely different product. Not as hydrating, not as spreadable, and not as soothing. I was surprised at how much it made me break out. I know many people love this product. But LaRoche Posay please bring back the old product. I keep seeing many reviews that say they miss the old formula. It would be nice if the company just offered the option of the old formula. I’ve been looking for a new moisturizer and nothing compares to the old one. The old formula is what transformed my skin. This new stuff ruined all the progress I made with my skin. I’m a very sad customer. I don’t understand why they would change such a great product.

So Moisturizing! But Straw Too Short

This is an amazing moisturizer. It is a bit thick but it’s not greasy or sticky and goes on smooth. I have eczema and my skin is constantly flaking and itchy. I’ve been using this for about 2 yrs and I’m so glad it’s affordable and OTC. My only complaint is the straw tube is too short. It doesn’t touch the bottom of the container so it leaves about 1” of cream at the bottom, which means I have to flip it and open the bottle every time when I’m trying to finish it. This of course is messy and annoying. Please extend the length of the plastic straw inside.

Trusty go to moisturiser

I received it as a member of La Roche Posay community and I am so grateful I did! I use it all over my body and hands. When I used other brands before the feeling was great for half an hour after the application but I had to reapply later as they made my skin dryer. This product makes my skin feel healthy and comfortable to be in. It does not have a fragrance so it is a great choice for sensitive skin. I use it once a day after showering and it has improved the over condition of my dry skin, especially on my legs. The bottle is quite big so it will last a while.

I only like a few different kinds that aren’t too greasy but still keep me moisturized. This is the perfect balance! It’s lipid replenishing and keeps my skin hydrated for more than 48 hours after I apply. This is multi use product that can even be used on my face as well hand and body. This cream even balances my microbiome with probiotics. The ingredients are really good and include shea butter, ceramides, and niacinamide. It’s also a generous size bottle at 13.52 oz with a pump that will last a long time. I’m so happy to receive this cream and will purchase in the future.
