La Roche Posay Substiane + Anti-aging Replenishing Care 40ml

Received this complimentary from Influenster Vox Box .,,. I’m three weeks into this product, I use it in the morning and before bed. I haven’t seen any dramatic changes in my skin. It’s a decent moisturizer, though I’m not sure I would run out and purchase it again. It’s a little pricey, not that I mind spending the money if I absolutely loved it, but I don’t so I don’t foresee me purchasing it again. I will give it an honest trial and finish out the tube and if by some miracle I begin to see or feel a change That might change my mind for a future purchase. A few things to point out, it doesn’t have fragrance, so it’s scent free. One big negative was squeezing it out if the tube.

A Little Goes A LONG Way!

I put a pea size on my finger and warm it up. I use it around my eyes and on my throat. It applies very smoothly and provides a great barrier. I haven’t seen a difference in my skin, but I will most likely purchase it again. I have been impressed with the quality of the product line La Roche-Posay has. If you have dry delicate skin, you should try this product.

Big on moisture. Too small of a tube

I love this moisturizer. I am 61 and needed a rich emollient cream. My dermatologist recommended laroche posay. I am happy with the product but very unhappy with the size of the tube. Website indicates this product should last 3 months. No way!!! I am using it sparingly. I wish the manufacturer would offer a larger tube size. It is expensive but I find most anti aging high end moisturizers are costly.

Great product; poor packaging

This face cream is nice and I’ve seen results. However it’s horrible packaging and very challenging to get the product out of the tube. I’m starting to run low and I’m guessing I will need to cut open the tube in order to get the last bit out. Perhaps a jar would work better for this particular cream.

I Love La Roche Posay!

I absolutely am in love with this product line! My sensitive skin looks and feeling amazing.I have always cared for my skin and always had compliments even when I was younger . Lately i've noticed my face had begun to have less volume in the last year. 10 years ago I started with just 1 product Anthelios sunscreen, then Substaine Eyes, Toleriane demo cleanser & Miscellar water ultra sensitive. Now I am a huge fan of Substiane riche and HyaluB5 . I use Toleriane demo cleanser & Micellar water ultra reactive skin & Hyalu5 every night I thrilled with the results. Thank you La Roche Posay

Just starting out..

I am just finishing my first tube so I can't give it a true review. Feels good but I don't see any changes yet. I expect to see firming for 'sagging skin.' I'm in my mid 60's & have always been told I look 10 years younger but this sagging skin has just started about 1 year ago. I bought 2 so I can give it a chance to work. Hv used LA Roche-Posay since yr 2000 off & on. I've used Retinol & Vitamin C with great results in the past. I will give another review next month 👍

Need it larger

I use it daily, and no one can guess my age. And it would get five stars for me if the packaging was larger. From a cost to benefit ratio, as well as for ecological concerns, why is the package so thick and the volume of product so small? We need a 4 ounce version or a 6 ounce version for those of us who use it daily so we don’t keep having to toss it into the recycling bin. And because it’s thick, and I’m older, it’s hard to squeeze out the last of it. So now I cut it open so I can have access to what’s left inside. I can usually get another five days worth of product after cutting the top open. Laroche Posey don’t you care about the environment?

Not hydrating

I have very dry skin from the winter and have been looking for a cream to rehydrate it. I was really excited to try this but it does not love up to its claims. I've used it morning and night and it doesn't leave my skin hydrated for very long, it even has a strange feeling on my skin. It's also heavily scented which I don't like. I use lots of La Roche items that I like and was hoping this would be my saviour to really dry skin, but it isn't. Unfortunately they don't do free returns either. Would not recommend for someone truly looking to repair dry skin.

Oily on skin and bad smell after sleeping with it

I love La Roche products. I purchased this product to add to my anti aging routine. This is the only product I do not like by them. My face was always extremely oily after use and there is a strange smell every time I would wake up in the morning from using this product.For reference I am 37 with combination skin.

very light and pleasant moisturizer

I can always depend on La Roche to be hydrating and non irritating to my sensitive skin. I use a prescription retinoid, which makes my skin quite dry. Many people wrote negative things about this moisturizer based on price and container. As far as price goes, price per ounce is actually less than similar products. The tube is excellent size for a purse or travel instead of a large clunky jar. When it runs out, I usually cut the top off, and use my finger to extract the remaining cream(I do this with toothpaste too!) Warm up the cream on your fingers before applying to make it easier to spread since it's quite thick.
