The TX5 GTX model from the Traverse X series is a protective and comfortable approach shoe for all hikers who also travel with heavy backpacks. The high shaft offers stability to the ankle and is therefore particularly suitable for carrying heavy loads. In addition, the 3D Flex movement system at the ankle provides additional protection and allows maximum control when approaching and freedom of movement. A stabilizing insole is used as a midsole, which makes the shoe the ideal companion for long missions. Thanks to its GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane, the shoe is waterproof and breathable at the same time. The soft nubuck upper has been equipped with an abrasion-resistant all-around protective rim and a shock-resistant rubber toe, which provides comprehensive protection for the foot. The high shoe collar prevents the penetration of stones and mud. The total package is rounded out by the Vibram MegaGrip rubber compound with differentiated lugs and Impact Brake System for added cushioning and grip on any surface.
