I have to say, the quality of these polos was absolutely breathtaking. Such beautiful craftsmanship. My husband loves Lacoste, and these garments are extremely flattering and perfect for a vast range of events and situations. Not only that, but the extensive range of colours means there is always something for everyone. I would recommend buying multiple polos in different colours, each of which creates a completely new look. Definitely a smart buy!

Definitely good quality materials and I get the appeal for fit guys playing tennis and what not- college boys. But I don't think it's a great fit for the office like Polo Ralph Lauren. Material feels more stiff, less soft, less stretchy, less breathable, and less comfy compared to the likes of Polo Ralph Lauren. I'd go with that brand if you are already paying a premium price

Cheap fabric not the same quality of Lacoste from years ago. I have a Lacoste polo from almost 15yrs ago that is still in tact and wearable much more durable and quality fabric. I would not buy this newer version of Lacoste Polo shirt ever again. They have definitely degraded from the original materials used.. i would not pay $5 for this shirt. The insanity of them trying to sell this for $100 or more is almost fraudulent. Never again..
A couple of summers ago I was wearing those other luxury polos with the guy on the pony... but they consistently broke down in the wash and shrunk lengthwise to the point of being indecent. For that money, not acceptable. For any money, not acceptable. So recently, I tried a new "lux" polo brand, Lacoste. Picked up a navy one and then a green one, even a long-sleeved version (all through Altitude, because this is where the price is best!). Worn and washed countless times, and they look almost as good as new. I hang my polos to dry, but even after one of these went through the dryer by accident, it seems to have held up well.So when I had a chance to buy another one, in a new colour, on sale? No brainer. I was a little worried this would turn out to be super bright ... I was a little worried this would turn out to be super bright red, but it came as shown on the site -- cherry red, somewhere between red and light burgundy. Perfect with just about any colour of shorts or pants.Fit as expected (pay attention to the size chart -- it's a European brand). I'm chunky and this shirt makes me look a little more muscular than round. Length good for tucked or untucked wear. And unlike those other fancy polos, this one will actually last long enough to merit the price -- on sale or not.
This is my new favorite shirt! It's extremely comfy and perfect for hot summer days. The only issue (like many brands) is different colors fit different even though it's the same shirt. I have a large in this color and I need an extra-large in black, gray and one of the blues. Thankfully they have a decent return policy!#sweepstakes
As always, Lacoste made good polo shirts. I wear Medium size (4) and it fits well. It is a Classic fit so it is about an inch longer and a bit roomier than a Regular fit Lacoste. For those who has belly and dont want to see it when wearing polo tuck in their pant I suggest the Classic fit. Remember, Lacoste Classic is made fit to the body and slimmer than an usual Ralph Lauren Polo in Regular medium size. I expect this Lacoste polo to last 12-15 years like my 20 others Lacoste polos.
Anybody who is looking to buy this pique polo beware that it runs small and even if you size up, the length still remains short with only the shirt getting wider between sizes. Worst thing is that no matter how you wash it, even in ice cold water it still shrinks a lot and after hang drying it looks ridiculous like a belly shirt. It’s just an odd cut which kinda fits when new but after one wash is unwearable. I have bought these polos over many years and one thing stays consistent, it’s the short overall length and they always shrink too much.
I purchased the same size short-sleeved polo online that I had purchased overseas in Italy. The Italian polo material is heavier and is able to go into the dryer on the "delicate" cycle after washing with no shrinkage. I tried putting the shirt I purchased from Dillard's in the dryer, after washing and it shrank to the point where I was unable to wear it. A friend who is much smaller got a very nice present! Lacoste is wonderful, but a label somewhere noting probable shrinkage would be wonderful (and apologies if I missed it).
Quality (if anything goes by my current 24 year old Lacoste polo - it has now reached "holy" status) and with a classic look. Size (FR) 5 fits well - i'm 6ft 2 and around 13.5 stone. Comfortable easy wear that's versatile so you'd be happy exercising or sat outside a cafe. Will be buying again as want a new colour to the collection.
