Lacoste Slim Fit Polo White

The item fit the description perfectly. I have other Lacoste polos but for some reason this one wasn’t quality. I ordered 2 shirts and the other was fine but this one had a smaller fit and after the first wash it shrank about 2 sizes. The shirt originally stopped just below my belt line but after washing it barely covered my navel. Once again, my other shirts fit fine and have withstood washing but this one did not. I guess I got the bad apple of the bunch.

These remain a classic and I love them, however, the best polo out there is made by Uniqlo, and costs £19.95! I appreciate they don't have Lacoste's brand heritage and cachet, but their polo is better made and is a slightly heavier weight pique fabric. They wash better and retain their shape better, plus the collar sits better and doesn't curl. I would urge Lacoste to improve the quality of their shirts. They should be the absolute pinnacle of polo shirt manufacture, and for £85 or so you should expect that. thanks Jim

I am really disappointed with the quality and fit of this garment. It shrunk in length by several inches when washed at 30 degrees and has not retained its shape. I have pulled it when damp and it recovers some length but then when I wear it, it loses its shape at the hem line. I have had many Lacoste polos in the past and have been really happy with their quality and how they wash and retain their shape. Would you kindly provide me with your response? I have return 2 unworn shirts but have 2 shirts in the order that suffer from these defects. I look forward to hearing from you

Lacoste is always a winner

I purchased this as a gift for my son for Christmas in the dark red colourway. One can never go wrong with clothing from Lacoste. The fabric always has a nice feel and the classic polo shirt never goes out of style. These pieces are durable and have longevity. I purchased an XL as my son is 6'1" and a medium build. It fits perfectly.

Lacoste never disappoints you. They have the best polo shirt in the marked. High quality product that last for years. It fits very well, is true to size and have amazing colours to choose from. I bought many both for my husband and my son-in-law and they love them. Will keep buying them over and over.

More than the little alligator

A couple of summers ago I was wearing those other luxury polos with the guy on the pony... but they consistently broke down in the wash and shrunk lengthwise to the point of being indecent. For that money, not acceptable. For any money, not acceptable.So recently, I tried a new "lux" polo brand, Lacoste. Picked up a navy one and then a green one, even a long-sleeved version (all through Altitude, because this is where the price is best!). Worn and washed countless times, and they look almost as good as new. I hang my polos to dry, but even after one of these went through the dryer by accident, it seems to have held up well.So when I had a chance to buy another one, in a new colour, on sale? No brainer. Perfect with just about any colour of shorts or pants.Fit as expected (pay attention to the size chart -- it's a European brand). I'm chunky and this shirt makes me look a little more muscular than round. Length good for tucked or untucked wear.And unlike those other fancy polos, this one will actually last long enough to merit the price -- on sale or not.

Nice polo

As always, Lacoste made good polo shirts. I wear Medium size (4) and it fits well. It is a Classic fit so it is about an inch longer and a bit roomier than a Regular fit Lacoste. For those who has belly and dont want to see it when wearing polo tuck in their pant I suggest the Classic fit. Remember, Lacoste Classic is made fit to the body and slimmer than an usual Ralph Lauren Polo in Regular medium size. I expect this Lacoste polo to last 12-15 years like my 20 others Lacoste polos.

Organic Cotton so comfy on Body

The look and feel of this polo made of organic cotton is absolutely outstanding. Made in France and some nice improvements on the classic L1212 polo.I much nicer woven collar and nicer buttons also.I premium high quality polo, where you notice the difference just by touching the material, far thicker and compact weave.I wish they would make them I. Other colors than just the 3 . I have them all . There's also a really nice blue available in Europe ... hope they will e bringing that colour to Australia soon also .Definitely worth the additional $ !

Product Review

If I could have given this shirt a zero, I would have. I bought this for my husband to wear for a Razorback football game. He tried it on before I washed it, and it fit perfectly. I washed it according to the care label. He went to put it on the next day before the game, and it looked like he was wearing a crop top versus a normal men's polo shirt. We were very disappointed especially since the shirt after tax was around $100. He never even got to wear it once! It was a complete waste of my money!

The Sizes are completely different

I normally buy a large in t-shirts as I have a 41-42 inch chest.I remember that large in Lacoste can be too large, so I ordered a medium.The t-shirt is labled as a US Medium though, so even this is too big. I'm not a small in any t-shirt or polo shirt.I wouldn't even try to order this online given that the sizes are miles out.The quality of the Polo isn't quite as good as Lacoste used to be, but it's ok or would be if it fit.
