But my son has shorter hair than us (like 10cm lengths) and much thicker so I tried on him and I can see that this hot brush will be a perfect for someone with shorter and thicker hair.I do love the design, and love that it is cordless - overall a great concept, but just not for me. I will not recommend this brush to someone with long or medium hair and someone whose hair are easily getting oily or greasy.

I was really excited to try this product but was sadly disappointed.I have quite fine, straight hair and it just didn't work for me. There was no staying power at all - even at the highest heat setting, my hair was back to straight after half an hour.I found it quite hard to use as well. Using it as per the instructions, it didn't do anything at all. I ended up using it like a curler and holding my hair wrapped around the wand for 15 seconds just to get it to have a bit of a wave on the ends of my hair.A bit of a concern for me was the handle getting quite warm while using the product. I've never experienced this with any other hair heating product.I think the only positive aspect of the product was the plastic end on the wand being much longer than others, ... MoreI was really excited to try this product but was sadly disappointed.I have quite fine, straight hair and it just didn't work for me. Great design, average results
17 July 2023

Was excited to get this as part of a review. Firstly, the product is sleek and simple from a user perspective - one button to turn it on and 3 heat settings for various hair types (I have long fine hair) so it was very easy to use. The chordless feature with USB-C port meant it travelled very well and I took it with me on some overnight trips which worked out well. The bristle head was designed that it was basically impossible for me to burn myself as well so I was quite amazed when trying it out.On the other hand, the design does limit the function of the tool so it was not a multi-purpose which could just take up more space in your cupboards. While the tool was very easy to use, it was also hard to master the technique of achieving a salon worthy blowdry (which ... MoreWas excited to get this as part of a review. I've only used it for about 3 weeks but I'd like to keep trialling it to see what I Could achieve with the brush before making a recommendation.

Happy and purchased for a great price
10 July 2024

I purchased this a week ago from Chemist Warehouse because of the price and convenience. I wanted something to tidy my bob style haircut when away from home. My hair is quite thick and I find it does the job for my needs, giving a boost to my styled cut when I don't have the convenience of 240 volts.Reviews I read advised they weren't happy with the run time, so I put it to the test. There are 3 settings and I tried it out all on three with the following results -160 degrees ran for 31 mins, 180 degrees ran for 27 mins and the highest 200 ran for 21 mins. I found that I could get the groomed look of my bob quite easily on the 160 and 180.It is a shame the unit can't be used whilst charging and it does take 2-3 hours to recharge. I wanted to like this product, I really did. I paid attention to the instructions, the first time I wrapped my hair around the brush, It caught. It tangled around my hair so much it took THREE HOURS out of my work day to get free!- A Lot of oil and product later I was left with a massive dreadlock in the front of my hair that pretty much had to be cut out, leaving me with a lovely bald patch.I gave it another go a few days later, It just didn't do what it was supposed to. Maybe my hair is too long but I was left with frizz, someone with short thick hair may be different.I love the concept of this brush but I had such a bad experience with it I wouldn't feel safe recommending it to anyone.I don't think it heats up enough? It doesn't really add up.

Nice curling, terrible battery
28 November 2023

The concept of this brush is awesome, being cord free and lightweight is great. Where it falls incredibly short is the battery life. It sucks! I only use it for styling my curtain bangs (takes about 7mins including heating time) and I am lucky if I get two uses out of it without needing to recharge it (using it at either 180 or 220 degrees). Either make it a corded product, or at the very least, make it so it can be used when plugged in to the charger! There have been a handful of times where I have gone to use it and the battery has died, and then I have no way of using it until I have waited a couple of hours for it to charge. Once charged, I do like how it styles my hair, but the battery issue is a real fatal flaw for me.

Root volume pro!!
18 July 2023

This product is great for achieving volume from the roots. It’s quick and easy to use,I was able to get two uses out of it before needing to recharge again (approx 25mins battery life - could be longer and would be my only point for upgrade). Comes with a usb cable which needs connecting to an existing plug (Apple plug point for example). It heats to three different settings, I always use the middle setting for styling products to protect my hair and was able to achieve great volume. The key is to wrap hair from the root to achieve max uplift, alternatively I start wrapping the hair part way down to achieve a more relaxed look.I always spray a little hairspray over my hair once finished to ensue it holds in place and give it a light brush with a curling brush ... MoreThis product is great for achieving volume from the roots. So disappointing 😞. Does not hold itself charge!!
25 November 2023

Thought this would be an incredibly useful tool for travelling. Love the brush & how my hair turns out. But, & it's a huge BUT for me! It takes 2.5 hours to charge! Then I get about 15 minutes of use before having to charge it again for another 2.5 hours! WHY? My phone takes an hour to charge & lasts all day. I have a chargeable Thin Lizzy body brush & I get at least 6 uses out of it before it needs to be recharged. This volumizing brush is such a disappointment & a waste of money!!!!!🫣

Very disappointed and charging issues. Not worth $
18 August 2024

I can’t even get mine to charge. I left it charging for min 3 hours as instructed, but when I tried to use it for the second time (after failed first time of 3 hours charge) it kept flashing red and not heating up. Tried to charge again but all light turn off within seconds of plugging it in. I have no idea if this means it is charging or not but doesn’t seem to be (inadequate instructions on how to know if product is actually charging). Can’t say whether or not it actually works on my hair - which is very manageable and blow waved once/week by my hairdresser. I purchased it thinking I could use as mid week touch ups mostly for top/front hair sections. But don’t know how to charge it correctly- or know if it’s even charging while I have it plugged in because I can’t ... MoreI can’t even get mine to charge. But don’t know how to charge it correctly- or know if it’s even charging while I have it plugged in because I can’t even get it to heat up, even after following minimal instructions supplied. Paid approx. $80 at chemist warehouse and wish I’d have red reviews first as I would not have wasted my money. As other users have suggested, due to battery - that doesn’t even work in my case - but should still be able to use while plugged in. Cordless is convenience- when it actually works - but not being able to use at all, including after a ridiculous amount of expected charge time, it does not do what I need it to do and that is - save time on maintaining my already professionally blow waved hair each week. Complete waste of money and time. I’d love to return it but as per reviews, it’s not a chemist warehouse problem, it’s a manufacturer problem. So returning to chemist warehouse will just waste more time I’ll never get back as well as not having that time in the first place. This was purchased as a time saver but has already wasted too much of my time just trying to get it to work in the first place. Don’t recommend at all - for any hair type.
