This is a bottled ink only fountain pen, with a large reservoir easily refillable with a wide range of ink choices. Simply unscrew the piston at the end of the pen, dip the nib in your ink and then rescrew the piston (with the nib still submerged). The ink is drawn up into the reservoir with the rescrewing action. Remember to blot up any excess ink before you start writing. Excess ink will most likely be around the nib, but don’t neglect the grip area.
