The LAMY Aion ballpoint features a smooth twist action and a silk-matt anodic coating finish with a high gloss polished clip, creating a distinctly modern design. Designed by Jasper Morrison, co-originator of the Super Normal design manifesto alongside Naoto Fukusawa and known for his work with Cappellini, Muji, Vitra among others. Jasper Morrison’s designs are lauded for their subtlety, with Morrison himself quoted as saying “Objects should never shout.” The LAMY Aion in Olive Silver looks, to me at least, to be straight out of a Pierce Brosnan Bond movie. A brilliant and understated ballpoint. Each LAMY Aion is presented in a LAMY presentation box and is compatible with LAMY M16 ballpoint refills.
