The pen body is longer (180 mm) more tapered version of the Lamy Safari’s Bauhaus design. The ergonomic chiselled grip and robust metal clip have been retained, as has the small “ink window” that the Lamy AL-Star is known for. The barrel is made of ABS plastic with a soft black lacquer finish. The Joy comes with a Lamy T10 black ink cartridge. Please remember to clean your pen before using it for the first time and to remove the paper wedge protecting the ink cartridge. When you reassemble the pen and gently tighten, it will automatically puncture the ink cartridge and your pen is ready for use. The Lamy Joy is available in 3 nib sizes: 1.1 mm, 1.5 mm and 1.9 mm. It is also compatible with the Lamy Z28 Ink Converter.
