The Lamy pen is a classic well designed pen with good quality. It holds well into the hand making writing a snap. There is also a loop to hold the pen in a shirt pocket that works.
I regrettably lent my pen to a child to borrow and they ended up tearing off the rubber bit on the end where the click bit is. I am devo as I love the pen, it's a great colour and works well. Not a hardy pen (at least the cute rubber bit) for use by under 18yo people.
Have had one of these for years then lost my last one. Missed the great writing instrument so did a search and found this one at a very fair price.
For the price, its hard to beat the Lamy line. They are dollar for dollar champions. The pencil is durable, smooth, operates well and consitently, and is easy on the hand. The clip is pure pragmatics.
This pen has a rather cheap feel to it and doesn't write all that smoothly. It's not that it is terrible. But I would expect more for the price. They could start with a stringer, more substantial plastic for the pen body. I like the clip and the click mechanism.
I love all my Lamy pens. The ballpoints write smoothly and are reliable. The click is satisfying too!
