Nice change from blue and black. I wrote a story using green ink in conversations between characters. It looked nice. Then I misplaced the ink and just recently emptied a bag and they were on the bottom of a inside pocket. I use Lamy blue too and this and green are great companions. In fact I have a Lamy Green pen reserved for green ink.

Exactly what I needed for my proprietary Lamy fountain pen. Chose turquoise, however, it doesn't come out as that color, just another shade of blue. Fits my needs perfectly.

I am knew to the world of fountain pens, and I am really enjoying it. My pen has a syphon cartridge, but I was not quite ready for that. I bought the LAMY Blue/Black ink cartridges as an alternative. I am very happy with them. They make using the pen easy and beautiful. It is the only pen I use now. Buying them was easy too. Goulet Pens is top notch in customer service.

Excellent. The pen is a dream ( Lamy Studio) and writes very well. Although it is not mentioned here I purchased 3 different nibs, so I can have different thickness of writing. All of them work very well and are every easy o change. As usual the customer service of Goulet Pens was very good, and I received the items in time. Thanks.
I ordered Diamine Turquoise at the same time and I prefer Diamine. I also struggled to put the cartridge in the Lamy pen due to arthritic fingers so I don’t think I’ll be purchasing again. The colours pools at the bottom and makes it look darker than the Diamine Turquoise.
There is a philosophical argument among fountain pen users about which types of filling systems are best: Piston- lever- crescent- fill (or systems of that ilk), vs cartridge-converter types. I own examples of all of them. I prefer cartridge-converter systems, but especially cartridge-fill. Why? 1. It is less messy to change cartridges, & does not involve dipping the pen's section into ink. 2. Cartridge-fill pens are much easier to clean using a an irrigation syringe. Empty cartridges can likewise be easily cleaned with a needle-type syringe & reused. 3. Given a decent nib, there is no difference in how a piston-fill or cartridge-type pen writes. So, paper matters. When I first got this ink all I had to write on was your basic composition notebooks, and it's totally fine. Doesn't feather that bad for on cheap paper. I use a Lamy fine nib. I just recently got a leuchtturm 1917 and now I love this ink. It shades from dark blue to a slate grey. It's so nice to look at. It also flows well. I love the convenience of cartridges. I can put the box of five in my messenger bag with my notebooks and just go and do my thing. Cleaning is easy enough with a bulb syringe. I love this ink, but understand this is an understated color. A blue-gray more then a blue-black
Not my color, bought some for someone else to use but they aren't using it so....Either way, is a nice purple/pink that's easy to read and highly vibrant. I was expecting it to be slightly washed out, a personal experience with many house brand colored ink cartridges but this one is not. It's quite saturated and flows great out of my Lamy Aion (M nib). There is moderate shading but because the color is so vibrant, the shading is a bit masked. Poor water resistance, when submerged almost all of the ink disappears with slight color left but hard to make out words. I managed to get roughly ~23 pages of notes (read: 2 pages per sheet) out of the cartridge. Math notes, so slightly more spaced out.
My first real pen - Lamy Special Edition Color AL - honestly can't stop using it. Really am convinced I will but more Lamy pens and use them. I love the stub nib. These ink cartridges are great and I will be buying more and occasionally trying others. Thank you GOULET!!!!
Love this ink. Behaves well on all papers. The shading is between a grey blue and black on any of the fountain pen papers. Looks really cool, isn’t too flashy for work or college, and yet remains unique compared to most other blue blacks. Lamy should call this ink steel blue instead! It writes fairly medium to wet in my Lamy Safari F. Dries fast, semi waterproof. I’ve also found that this ink rarely dries out when my pen is uncapped for a few minutes, which is rare for inks. Usually one has to “press” the nib to paper to get the flow started again. Not the case with Lamy blue black! These properties make it an excellent workhorse note taking ink.
