Lancome Absolue Revitalizing & Brightening Rich Cream 2 oz

Over the last few years I’ve noticed that lightweight creams are no longer doing the job in keeping my skin hydrated during the day. I’ve been searching for a richer, thicker cream to wear both day and night and have bought countless brands’ moisturizers from Sephora that didn’t do it for me, until this. I first tried Lancôme’s soft cream, which feels amazing, but it too wasn’t thick enough for my taste and I started to give up hope that I’d ever find that moisturizer I was searching for, until I received a sample of the rich cream. It is unlike any moisturizer I’ve ever use before and not only does it smell amazing, it also feels unbelievable on my face. It makes my face feel so incredibly soft and my face stays hydrated for 16+ hours (probably longer but I always wash my face and do my skincare routine twice daily so that’s the longest I’ve gone in between used). I worried how it would work on my skin since it is so heavy, but it’s worked wonderfully and has not clogged my pores, it sits well under makeup, makes my skin look and feel so soft, and helps with fine lines and wrinkles. This is by far the best moisturizer I’ve ever used and while it’s extremely pricey, a little goes a long way and it’s worth every penny.

ALLERGIC

This is the first time I have ever developed an allergic reaction to any Lancome product. I never try products new to me on my face for the first time. I usually spot test on my inner arm. I had a lapse in judgement and tried it on my neck. The next morning I woke up with an itchy bright red rash all over my neck and down chest and under my jaw line. It took a week to clear with Benadryl spray and pills. I would love to know which ingredients are unique to this cream. I have used almost all of the other creams and serums and have never experienced anything like this. So sad, it was so silky smooth and I loved it.

Absolutely Lancome Absolue

Although Lancome's Absolue Precious Cells Rich Day Cream is expensive, the ability to purchase a refill makes it much more appealing as a luxurious essential. I find it perfect for my skin. It absorbs quickly and keeps the skin moisturised for the day, giving radiance and health. No other product does as well for me. I'm so glad that LookFantastic stocks this item and offers an occasional discount. Delivery is fast when you re-order.

Creamiest, Prettiest Pink, Best Smelling Moisturiz

I have used many facial moisturizers and NONE compare with how wonderful my face feels after putting on Your Absolute Rich Moisturizer! It is a complete sensory experience of (buttery texture, lovely rose scent, and the pastel pink looks very pretty)! I love how my foundation makeup glides on with my moisturizer! I love how it smells! It’s a light rose oil fragrance!If you buy this in the store, you’ll spend $50 or more dollars than online for the refill size! Once I began using the Absolute rich moisturizer, no other facial moisturizer will do! End of story!

When I started using the Absolute Cream Rich along with the Serum, and the eye cream plus the cleaning my face with the Absolute Oil-In-Gel Cleanser every day my face felt so different! I noticed how smooth, how easy to smile it was, and what a big difference it was from the previous years. Using the whole set it's very expensive but if you are careful and use them as indicated they last. I bought mine on October 2022 and run out of them in February 2023 bravo!!! And that was because I had to travel to different countries so I ended taking small amounts in my containers when I when to Europe. Then on my way back I travel to Mexico so I took all the bottles because I was going to stay there 3 months. LESS THAN MEDIOCRE FOR THE PRICE 😖

Okay, let’s face it.. there’s only so much a product can do. I get it. HOWEVER, this product, for the money was at best —> mediocre? I could spend way less (and I have) and end up with the same results. Sooo, with that being said, for the amount of money that is spent on a cream like this, why not just micro dermabrasion, or some other kind of medi spa service?? 🙄 But hey - live and learn. I didn’t expect miracles, but I what I did expect was more than mediocre. Very disappointing.

Poorly tested product

I have dry skin and very dry skin during winter months. This cream does not moisturize my skin. My skin feels tight the following morning. The waxy texture is too shiny and oily. It’s also impossible to add sunscreen over this cream. I think worst of all is that it kept giving me breakout that i had to see a dermatologist. The soft cream moisturises more effectively than this product. Why is this product marketed for dry skin then? But beware, your skin can take months to recover after using this product and getting a dermatitus.

Right now as I'm turning 50 this year, my skincare goal is anti-aging. I have tried many many products from drugstore brands to specialty brands to higher end department store brands. My go to brands have been Clinique and Kiehls combined with different serums and other anti-aging products from other brands. It really feels luxurious and has a very light rose scent that you hardly notice but adds to the experience. I have been using it every day for 3 weeks as my nighttime moisturizer after all the serums and my skin has never felt more hydrated or plump when I wake up in the morning. My fine lines and wrinkles are less visible and my skin feels so well nourished. I have never gotten this feeling from the other anti-aging moisturizers I have tried from other brands. It is worth the price for the larger 2 oz size (most other brands are 1.7 oz) and a little goes a long way. I tend to slather on the other brands because I feel I need more product to get the right amount of moisture into my skin. But with the Absolue Creme Riche Moisturizer, just a small amount achieves even greater result.

The Holy Grail of Face Creams

I have been splurging on skincare since I was in my early twenties and I am not exaggerating when I tell you that this is the best face cream I have ever tried. I would have never tried this face cream because of its price. Previously I was obsessed with Renergie but I got it as a sample in the holiday set and I decided to try it. I was completely in love! It's totally worth the $$$. I have never used it under makeup because it is a pretty rich cream. My skin looks 100% better and younger than Ive seen it look in years! I can't recommend it enough!

Too much essential oil in it.

Too much essential oil in it.I used tretinoin cream at night and thought I'd give this a go in my AM routine as I've pretty much got used to tretinoin as it can be very irritating on your skin at first. I applied the Lancome Absolue on my face the first day and was fine but it was so stinging on the second I had to wash the Absolute off my face and gave the rest of the Absolute to a friend.Probably way too much Rose oil for this day and age as I can even see that causing problems for people on plain Retinol with sensitive skin.It did make my skin feel super soft on the first day though it's just a shame it had so much essential oil in it.It
