Since it’s sample sized I only used once a day for 2 weeks. One of the main things I like about this essence is that is prepares your skin for the remainder of your routine and helps them to work better. The texture is a water like and it absorbs quickly into the skin. Skin began to feel softer during week 1 and by week 2 my skin felt smoother. Over the 2 weeks my skin has looked healthier. I was expecting a lot more to this when it came to hydration but I just didn’t get it. It does work great with other hydrating products. It was fun to shake the liquid and watch as the oil and clear fluid within combined or “activated” to form a softly clouded solution. This formula is extremely fluid and practically pours like water, so be careful. I think the full size bottle is a bit more forgiving with measuring out the product via a dropper opening. Applying this to my cleansed skin honestly felt incredible. I experienced an intense cooling sensation, which I think was my skin reacting to the exfoliating ingredients in this formula. The formula is a culmination of 2 parts. First, the Clear Active Essence works to exfoliate dead cells on the skin’s surface, and consists of Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, and Organic Beech Bud Extract. Second is the Lipidic Oil Essence - the moisturizing and nourishing part of this dual essence consisting of Grapeseed and Sunflower Seed Oil to help hydrate skin during exfoliation. I enjoyed the cool, invigorating sensation this gave my skin upon application. While I appreciate the purity of the ingredients, the lack of color or fragrance makes this one of the more lackluster offerings from Lancôme. If you value purity over cosmetics, then this essence may be a great fit!

Effective and Lightweight

I recently tried Lancôme Advanced Clarifique Double Treatment Essence and found it effective. The packaging is practical, and the lightweight formula absorbs quickly. After a few weeks, my skin's texture and clarity improved, looking brighter and more even-toned with smaller pores. The French beech bud extract helps with exfoliation and cell renewal. This essence has become a regular part of my skincare routine for a smoother complexion. I recommend it.

Good quality product

I like this product. In geeneral, Lancome rarely disappoints. I don't think I have sensitive skin, so I don't experience any peeling or irritation, my skin does look fresher and smoother the next moring. I don't know if I will use it in the moring though, because my skin gets a little red after I apply the essence and I would also worry about the sun damage even with sunscreen.The one thing I miss in this product is the birch smell that the Clarifique serum has, this product has no smell, which is probably good for those with sensitive skin.

Lancome never fails to deliver and is probably gonna be my favorite brand forever. I love their makeup, skincare and perfume lines. And every single item I've ever bought has left me so satisfied. It's absolutely crazy how they manage to make such amazing products.One of my favorites is probably the idol perfume and my second favorite, it's probably the idle nectar. We have received three 10 mL sample bottles for this trial. Had enough of product for about just over a week (10ish days) morning and night after cleansing. The formula is consistency of water and has to be shaken well before use. There are some small bubbles of grapeseed oil suspended in the water, so the formula has to be mixed with the water/alcohol/glycolic acid base. The sample bottles have wide neck and have to be poured into the hand before applying onto the face. I got some product escaping while applying, as the toner (not really an essence) is like water.Results after a short trial period: no change in my skin. I have combo skin with big pores and pigmentation. Need regular exfoliation with acids and I do both chemical and physical. [Rewarded Review] I LOVE IT! It has completely transformed my skin

I've been using Clarifique for the past two years, and this product is truly wonderful. It leaves my skin feeling amazing, has improved my skin's texture, minimized the visibility of my pores, and helped with dark spots. One remarkable thing about Clarifique is that whenever I’m not feeling great about my skin, I use it together with the Clarifique Pro-Solution Serum—they complement each other perfectly. And when you add Génifique afterward, the results are magnificent. Consistency is key, but with regular use, you'll see incredible improvements in your skin.

I was really lucky to be picked to try out this Lancome Clarifique Dual Essence. It is packaged in a classy glass bottle. By shaking the bottle, the whisk in the center mixes the oil-water biphase layers, creating microbubbles & dispenses a light, watery essence.I love layering my essence, however, due to the high amount of denatured alcohol, I wasn't able to layer this essence much since denatured alcohol causes small bumps & pimples on me. When used in smaller amounts, I didn't find the essence irritating for my sensitive skin. I use this essence only once daily (in my night routine). After consistent use, I do find that my skin looks smoother & plumper since the essence contains glycolic, salicylic & fruit acids to gently exfoliate the skin. The oil microbubbles in the essence forms a light barrier on the skin, preventing the moisture from evaporating. The essence is fragrance free but smells faintly of roses & fruits since it contains rose flower water, rose flower oil & grape seed oil.Overall, I think it is a good quality mild essence & a lovely addition to my skincare routine. It is designed to be a gentle daily exfoliating essence, which is something I prefer for my sensitive skin & avoid over-exfoliation. If you are using it during the day, I would definitely make sure to wear sunscreen on top to prevent sunspots. Since Lancome is a premium brand, I am not surprised at the high price tag even though I do wish that it is less pricey. One star was taken off due to the high amount of denatured alcohol in the formulation since it causes some trouble for my sensitive skin type.I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a luxurious product with mild exfoliating properties. Even though this essence claims to be suitable for sensitive skin, I would still be a little cautious if you have very sensitive skin type.
