Lancome Eau De Parfum Poeme 30 ml

Who has ever discovered their signature scent in their teens or twenties and then… HORROR they discontinue it… you buy all remaining stock you can find, you finish off eBay, Amazon, and Marketplace… and then one day you must use the last drop… 🙋🏻‍♀️me and it was Lilu…I suffered a small identity crisis, truly. I’ve been searching everywhere, trying everything, experimenting and then a “Miracle” happened!! I’m Back!! But better!! Lancôme’s Miracle saved the day. Floral based but with a sparkling attitude. Freesia, Lychee, Jasmine, Ginger… it’s so beautiful and not overpowering. It’s grounded with citrus and then a musk and amber to balance. Move over Uma, Lancôme has a new face for Miracle💜 and now it’s a generational signature in our family…

I like this perfume from Lancome. I hate when I get headaches from strong perfumes but this one does not give me any headache because it is so mild and soft in the nose. It has this wonderful floral scent with the hint of a citrus scent; not too sweet and not too strong. The scent faded quickly on skin but you can still smell the hint of floral esp if you put it on your clothes. I read that the pH balance of our skin and even our diet are all believed to affect how our body reacts when perfume is applied and this perfume is the same, for me it feels like it changes the scents on my skin in a whole day and I still love it! it's either you hate it or you love it. Another 90s classic is murdered by reformulation!

It is shocking to see what has been done to this perfume. Batch 22UDOSG, purchased via Perfume Shop, Feb 2022. If Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud wouldve been dead, hed be turning in his grave, but as hes alive, hes probably hitting his head on the wall, as hes watching his baby being butchered, and then sold, that Frankenstein of a monster, at the pretense of being a real child! As my 2007 bottle had almost run out, I bought a new one, 50 ml. Ive heard that reformulations are rife in the industry, courtesy of IFRA regulations, but Lancome keeps swearing by that this perfume hasnt suffered the fate of others (cross my heart and hope to die..) Original Poeme had intricate layers with almost 30 ingredients declared, and I used to be able to smell them all, in turn, slowly, over course of hours, the pyramid would progress, opening up, middle notes coming after the top, then the base, and I would find and notice each ingredient. I could smell them all! But not anymore! Now, its like a flash bomb mess, a stun-grenade: opens up with weak initial accords of something simple, although resembling Poeme, but not quite,then suddenly, changing into the final base notes of powdery sweetness within 30 minutes(!), missing the middle notes of mimosa, leather or orange blossom, with the apotheosis of this new mess: a completely varnished scent (even cheap vanilla is gone) after 3-4 hours! Shocking! Before the scent would stay on me through the evening, and day, would trail after me, surrounding by a cloud of yellow flowers, now, gone after 3 hours, not a whisper of it is left the following day on my blouse. I wish companies like Lancome would stop selling something that is no longer there. At the best is misleading. If the product has changed, the bottle and name should change too. This desire to chase profits and cut corners would only damage the reputation in the long run, as now, I will be looking for another scent elsewhere (and for my cosmetics), possibly looking for something vintage, as contrary to the perfumery industry beliefs, who keep churning juvenile scents of sugary flower bombs of simplicity for the last twenty years, not all women want to stay pre-pubescent forever and star in their own Lolita movie. Some of us are happy to grow up and not afraid to be heavy or moody, and for once, at the happy age of 40, finally have enough disposable income to buy the pleasure in the form of ourfavourite perfume. I am very upset with Lancome! Having bought two 50ml bottles, now I am stuck with a simple and weak body spray, but above all, I hate being lied to or taken for a fool!

Lancolm needs to keep this Parfum!

This is quite an amazing parfum. I have it wearing this amazing scent since the early 90s and it has always been my go to. It is so soft and sweet yet really seductive. I often get asked what I’m wearing. And it’s my husband‘s favorite on date night. What kills me is that it seems like they’re phasing this perfume out, and if that’s the case, shame on Lancolm.They truly had something special with this perfume. Don’t know that I would purchase my perfumes from Lancolm in the future. I guess if they can quit, so can I. So needless to say, I’m really bummed out that they seem to be discontinuing it, but the other half of me is really glad that I still have some left. Best wishes, Joyce.

I love Poeme, because it draws random compliments from strangers who like the scent on me, nearly every day I wear it. Once, I was at Macy’s Christmas shopping and the Lancôme gentleman clerk complimented me on my perfume, inquiring what it was. He didn’t recognize the scent. He, like Lancôme management are blind to what is actually possible with Poeme. If management decided to approve a national marketing (a reintroduction) campaign for the product...a product that does not smell like anything on the market and so is constantly noticed, you could increase revenue. No product development needed, just a big, splashy advertising campaign. It’s disappointing that no one at Lancôme has the vision to see the potential right under their nose. Mommy’s Scent

I have been wearing Poeme since it was introduced in 1995, the year in which my twins were born. They would snuggle against my neck and fall asleep sniffing the lovely scent. When they began to talk they would always hug me and say that I smelled like Mommy. I’m recognized by my scent. My husband loves it as well and like other reviewers, I am stopped and asked which scent I’m wearing. Since I haven’t been able to get Poeme at Macy’s or any other store, Or directly from Lancôme, I resorted to ordering it from Fragrance Net. Not the same quality for sure!! It’s mostly alcohol and when it finally dissipates, the scent that remains is just not the same. Why Lancôme? Why did you stop making one of your most loved fragrances? Most heavenly scent ever

I've been wearing Poeme since my daughter was in middle school (she's now 33) and I STILL get compliments on it. Why you've decided to discontinue it is beyond me. It is the most heavenly scent I've every smelled. I first became aware of the fragrance after sitting behind a soccer mom of my daughter's teammate. She always smelled so amazing that I asked her what fragrance she wore and I promptly purchased my 1st of many bottles of Poeme. You would be well advised to bring it back! Please!

Strangers stop me and say they love my perfume!

I have worn Poe’me for many years. I love it, my husband likes it, my co-workers, and when l flew into O’Hare Airport -Chicago, my hometown area men approached me and asked me what kind of perfume was l wearing. They immediately responded that they were going to purchase some for their wife or girlfriend. My husband gets me Poe’me every Christmas. It is fantastic. Please don’t take it off the market. It’s an oldie but goodie! The same God is the same God so keep Poe’me. Why take away a good thing?

The BEST scent everrrrr!!!

Poême has been BY FAR the best scent I’ve ever worn!!!I have been wearing it since 1999, so that means 23 years, and like many others have commented, there’s no one I don’t go by with that gets a chance to smell it that doesn’t give me a great compliment about it.Men, women, even children, taxi drivers… you name it. I have given the Poême name to countless people who ask about it.It’s a real shame you don’t sell it anymore in Macy’s, Dillards, or any department store you use to sell it a few years back. Not even duty free at the airports carry it anymore.I have to look and look to find it… different vendors, also online, but many times the product seems altered.It’s not the same as when we got it from Lancôme. This is the absolute, most feminine, exotic scent

I have worn this since I was 21. That was in 1998. This has been the only scent that I wear. It last the entire day, as it cycles. I work as a nurse and my patients and, well everyone, loves this scent on me, but none more than myself. I will hunt it down, now that you can't just go scoop it with your Definicils all the time any more. And I will continue to do so. BEST SCENT EVER MADE. I'm 46 and still going strong, 25 years later. I've smelled it, only a couple of times in all those years, on other women, WHICH MAKES IT A PRIZE IN ITSELF, and though I could definitely, from afar tell that it was Poëme, it was not, my Poême, as it definitely works with your chemistry.
