I am a big fan of Lancome products. I recently purchased this anti stress moisturising gel cream as I liked the idea of it been a gel aswell as cream. It glides onto my face and neck when applied due to the gel/cream consistency but isn't greasy at all as it is oil free. You don't need to use a lot if product either so will last a while. The smell is absolutely beautiful and have to say I'm a bit addicted to the scent of this. It keeps my skin lovely and hydrated all day and my makeup applies so well too after using it. It's great for dehydrated skin and even sensitive skin. Would totally recommend this product.

Though similar in function, the two are vastly different formulas that target different areas of concern on the skin. My sample comes to me in this white 5 mL bottle with the signature pink hue of Hydra Zen in the cap. The formula itself, however, is completely white, and is a far deviation from the texture of the gel cream iteration. I prefer this method instead of dumping the product into my palm because I feel like more of the product ends up on my face this way, instead of my hands. That being said, I admittedly lean more towards thicker consistency moisturizers that create an enveloping blanket of smooth, dense, and protective hydration. That is not to say that this formula does not hydrate, it just accomplishes it in a different, lighter sort of way. Consisting of Amino Acids for skin support, Hyaluronic Acid for moisture retention, Aloe Vera for antioxidant benefits, and Rose Extract as the soothing cherry on top, this formula does have a lot to offer for anyone treating dry, irritated, or unbalanced skin. Since this is alcohol free and does not contain the salicylic acid found in the gel cream, I would consider this the gentler and perhaps more preferred option for a visibly distressed and compromised skin barrier. If your needs are more maintenance based, including acne and oil control, I would say the Gel Cream is the better fit. Another great skincare option from Lancôme!

I recieved this sample size product for free via a donation to healthcare workers from Ulta. Really liked this product! The packaging is simple and you get a decent amount of product in this sample size. The moisturizer itself is very thin so be careful it doesnt drip off of your fingers, but it is not thin enough to come pouring out of the bottle. It is rose scented and, though I'm not a fan of scented products, it is very subtle and not not at all offensive. I can still smell it around me even though it's been about 20 minutes since applying it. This moisturizer leaves my skin feeling hydrated and happy and with a subtle shine that's making my skin pop even though it's the only thing I currently have on my face. Perfect for a no makeup day! Im always dealing with redness and dryness from living in NE Ohio due to our dry and cold winters. I received this moisturizer as a sample from prior purchase and it was AMAZING!!! Looked at the price and was like yikes!! Luckily, I got it for a steal along with the face wash and toner during last 21Days of Beauty event! This has been the best skincare routine I have ever had! I have always sworn by Proactiv for many years. I will GLADLY pay reg price next time I need to but since only a little bit is necessary from all 3 products to work wonders, it's gonna be cheaper then Proactiv and well worth it!

I have used Hydra Zen for about two years. It keeps my skin moist all day. I like it also because, as it does not contain any sun screen, I can wear it as night cream when I run out of night moisturizer. Before Hydra Zen, I used Bienfait Total as my day moisturizer, which too bad it has been discontinued. I prefer Bienfait Total over Renergy Lift and even Absolu facial moisturizer, as I believe Renergy and Absolu are not any better than Hydra Zen or Bienfait Total and they are not really more beneficial to my skin. I have used the entire Lancome product line for my facial skin care and makeup for many years because Lancome is acceptable and I don’t want to try other beauty products.

Hydra Zen Glow is the Best!

I usually don’t get Lancôme as it is so expensive. But I always get their Holiday bundle as it was great mix of skincare and cosmetics. I got a full size Hydra Zen glow in the bundle. I tried it daily as I work from home so I just use skincare products unless I go out. This moisturizer went on very light and smoothly. It was just enough moisture and glow to give my face some light color and not oily. I used the whole bottle and realized I have to have another. Luckily they were having a Valentine’s Day discount so I bought another bottle. If it continues to give my complexion what it needs to look warm and clear, this will be my new ‘Gotta Have’ product …I think I’m hooked again.

Love Love Love

I’m on my third jar, this product changed the texture of my skin. My skin is so soft and smooth now! I’m 62, very fair skinned woman with dry skin. With the first jar I noticed my skin was smoother. I ran out after the first jar and the effects lasted, but after a month I thought my sun damaged decolletage started feeling a little rough, so I purchased another jar, and after a couple of weeks I’m back to baby smith skin. Ladies don’t forget sunscreen! I wish this came in a sunscreen version. but really a nighttime application is all that is needed. I do use a nighttime eye cream for the delicate eye area. If you have lost that youthful baby soft skin try this, it’s wonderful. and it has a light pleasant scent.

Nice moisturizer, but very strong scent

I purchased this on a whim to use as a serum when my regular go-to was out of stock. I have fairly dry combination skin so I typically use a hydrating toner, serum, and moisturizer. This did the trick in terms of being lightweight and hydrating, but I did need an additional moisturizer on top when using before bed. Those with less dry skin may enjoy this as a final moisturizer step, which it's intended for. The only fault I found with this is it's so heavily scented, and it's not a scent I enjoy. If you're sensitive to fragranced products I would definitely skip this one - otherwise, it's a nice product.

Smells heavenly, works great

I bought it on an Ulta app lightning sale for 50% off, not really expecting much in comparison to my current products, but I was intrigued by the description of its scent (I adore roses). All I can say is, where have you been all my life? It feels great, and works wonderfully on my combination / mostly oily skin. Best of all, it smells so heavenly that I look forward to using it every night! A little goes a long way, too, so I definitely recommend it.
