Lancome - Hydra Zen Anti-stress Moisturising Rich Cream 50ml

I purchased this along with other products from the same line, however I did not use them together so I cannot attest to how they all work as one “system†. I used those all a while back and didn’t notice anything extraordinary (that I can remember) and wasn’t expecting much from this gel cream, either. I’ve been using it consistently nightly and occasionally during the day for maybe a week or so, and can definitely notice a change. My skin is super soft and smooth, all day long even on days where I don’t do a morning skincare routine (most days lol). I love how this feels on my skin upon application. It soaks into my skin and doesn’t leave it feeling tacky. My skin feels moisturized and plump, and soooo soft!

Glorious moisture

Simply beautiful cream it totally soaks into skin leaving it thoroughly hydrated and nourished. My overall complexion and skin quality has significantly improved since I’ve started using Lancôme’s products. I cannot recommend you try these and the entire skincare collection that is suitable for skin type enough. This is a great way to keep yr skin hydrated and subtle smell. Had A Severe Reaction

I was excited to try this as I wanted a moisturizer for the days that I would be home and not going out in the sun or elements. I already use Renergie Multi-Action Ultra SPF 30 for outdoors. The first time I applied it I loved the feel of it, so rich and soft on my skin I thought oooh I'm going to love this. That lasted for about 2 to 3 minutes or so and then my face started to tingle then actually hurt, kind of like a burning sensation. I hurriedly washed it off but it still hurt so washed it again then got in the shower and just let cool water run on my face. My face stayed red and blotchy and quite painful for a few days and slowly it went away. Not sure why that happened as the Renergie, Génifique or Visionaire I have no problem using. HydraZen Moisturizing Cream

Absolutely love Hydra Zen moisturizing face cream. I have dry skin that can be prone to clogged pores and whiteheads. Within a couple of days using this cream I noticed a huge difference. By the end of week 1, my finer forehead lines have begun to diminish and those clogged pores are clearing up. My face feels soft, supple, and smoother than it has in a long time. Definitely recommend for anyone with acne prone or breakout prone skin. Will repurchase as needed, have already bought other items within this line. Definitely recommend.

Impractically luxury

There is no denying that this cream feels luxury. It’s velvety soft and almost mousse-textured. It smells divine and I had high hopes for it. My problem is that the consistency means that spreading it around your face is near impossible. I ended up using almost a teaspoonful to cover my whole face, and it’s not like I have dry skin. It doesn’t feel remotely moisturising really, and aside from smoothing your face- it didn’t have any affect. It also pils up at times. Disappointing to say the least. Much better with the ‘glow boost’- it’s far more hydrating.

Just keep trying it

Ok. I had purchased the gel and loved it. Makes my skin feel so smooth and soft. With the cold temperatures I thought the cream might be a better choice. It isn’t bad but it isn’t the gel. At first I didn’t like the smell but the more I use it the more I like the smell. It is thicker and now that I have consistently used it - I like it and my skin feels good. I was actually thinking of returning it after first use but I will use the whole jar and then go back to the gel for summer.

Love at first smell, touch, feel....

I discovered this product as one of my Rouge Rewards samples. It was love at first sight, smell, feel... A little goes a long way and a dime sized amount is more than adequate to cover face and partial neck. It glides on like satin and keeps my face moisturized all day. I have combo skin and am accustomed to having moisturizers leave dry patches on my cheeks. This formula seems to have intelligence on where and how to distribute its silky moisture; Will continue to use until I find something else superior... doubtful!

Moisturizing yet lightweight

I like Lancôme products. However, the gel-based products are too drying for my skin. This crème applies and absorbs easily, with no residue or obnoxious scent. I’ve had no problems with burning eyes or congested pores. It is lightweight, so I need to reapply after a quick wash by mid-day. It has been most useful when my skin is irritated, whether from accidental sunburn or a very drying clay mask, because it is soothing. Hopefully this review helps someone.

Think cream with arguable smell

I have been wanting this cream for a dozen of years. Unfortunately, it is not quite what I imagined. I imagined it would smell fresh rose to match the color. Instead it bears very trial old smell which I smelt from a cream 50 years ago. It reminds a smell of a medicine. Then, texture. I'd love it much better if it would be thinner, serum-like. I don't think I will buy it again though it is not very expensive. Also, I hope I will learn to like it more as I will use it. I am not disappointed. I hope it will do what was promised that is it will moisture my skin well though sensual experience is not up to my expectations.

Where has this been all my life

I’ve had a struggle with dryness and sensitivity forever, various heavy moisturizers always resulted in clogged pores. This moisturizer is like a balm. A small amount pressed onto the skin as the final step in your regimen it feels so soothing and locks in your serums. It gives you a healthy glow also. Less is more. I used to put globs of this on my face until I started noticing some congestion. My skin is able to tolerate exfoliating products now.
