I was so lucky to be gifted the newly released La Vie Est Belle Rose Rose Extraordinaire in exchange for my honest review. It can be worn on different occasions: it will match your elegant outfit, your professional attire, or your casual one. Any kind of woman can wear this perfume: its scent profile is pleasant and likable, but not basic. On the contrary, there is a distinctive personality in this perfume, that makes it recognisable and one of a kind. It doesn't remind me of the original La Vie Est Belle, but, like the original, this is a happy fragrance. It's feminine, it's fruity, it's joyous. This fragrance is suitable for spring and summer: the freshness of this rose makes it perfect for the warmer months.The projection is moderate: it creates a nice scent bubble for the first half an hour, following you as you move about. Then it becomes more intimate but not unnoticeable.The lasting power, on the other hand, is immense. Lancome's new addition to the La Vie est Belle fragrance family is Rose Extraordinaire. I am already a great lover of the traditional La Vie est Belle and this new fragrance does not disappoint. It comes in such a feminine and sophisticated bottle that looks wonderful on my dressing table. The glass bottle has a design both front and back designed in the glass of a rose. It is so pretty and the glass lid, spray and ribbon look very classy. To use you simply apply by spraying on the skin to warm points on your body such as the inside of your wrists, below your earlobes and behind your neck. The scent of this perfume is so uplifting and sends you to absolute serenity and a feel good mood. The scent lasts so well on the skin and you can still smell it after hours of wearing so I would say it is long lasting. It lasts on fabrics even longer and is glorious. I have received so many compliments whilst I am wearing it. I think this perfume is suitable for women of all ages as it is so modern and fresh. It starts off stronger when initially sprayed and then mellows to lovely powdery and floral hints. I would definitely recommend this beautiful fragrance. It's key notes of fragrance are Fresh Rose Water - Space Rose Accord and Rose Damascena Absolue, Iris Concrete, Woody Musk and a trio of roses. This perfume was created by three french master perfumers in pursuit of the perfect rose and in my opinion they have definitely succeeded. This has now become another of my favorite perfumes and it will sit proudly amongst my others. Thank you Lancome for selecting me I am super happy.

Being a member of My Lancôme Community I had an amazing opportunity to try this perfume right after it has been released.I think Rose Extraordinaire is a tribute to the two elements Lancôme most known for - the iconic Lancôme rose and the original LVEB shape with its uplifting vibe.The perfume opens up fruity fresh with a hint of citrus fruits. I could do without the cheesy petal ribbon on the neck but it’s easily removable.All in all it is still quite a lovely fragrance and a great everyday scent for spring and summer. Really well priced for something so elegant and long lasting. I recommend it and would be happy to purchase this myself.

I tend to gravitate towards sweet, fruity, floral scents although I usually don’t care for rose scents. To my surprise Lancôme’s Rose Extraordinaire has me completely captivated by its enticing and feminine scent. A spritz on my wrist and I’m immediately enveloped in sweet, sugary, rosy notes that like magic elevate my mood instantaneously. The opening notes are a bit overpowering and the scent has strong staying power as it lingers for hours. Even after washing my wrist a couple of times I could still smell it. The rosy fragrance is fresh and crisp and the aroma is like a bouquet of roses or being surrounded by a field of roses and is tantalizing. It closes with a melody of powdery, musky, woody notes as it dries down that smell intoxicating. I received some compliments while wearing it the other day and someone even stopped and asked what I was wearing. It is on the pricy side but a perfume this luxurious is well worth the investment. This fragrance is great for the spring and summer months. If you love rose scents this is for you.

Have been a big fan of most Lancome fragrances so I was delighted to get a chance to review this LVEB flanker. The lack of patchouli in comparison to many in this line, will definitely attract those who were not fans due to this note. Overall, I am quite smitten with this fragrance. Is it groundbreaking? No. For a designer fragrance I think it is a nice addition to my collection. It has moderate longevity before needing a respray which I don't mind doing after 4-5 hours for a designer fragrance. Sillage is also moderate. You will receive compliments from those in closer proximity. 50 ml bottle is selling for $158 but I have seen for less on certain retailers. This fragrance is created by a combo of master perfumers Anne Flipo & Dominique Ropion that have created many designer as well as niche fragrances you likely have in your collection.

I think the bottle is designed beautifully and I love the flowers coming off the top! It’s so feminine and flirty. La vie est belle Rose Extraordinaire is a tribute to the most iconic flowers of perfumery. It does a great job of doing this. The heart is composed of a signature iris and three precious rose extracts: fresh rose water, rose accord, and rose damascena absolue. Its floral heart is enhanced by enveloping woody musk undertones. I swear you can smell each component on their own and then each component mixed together. It’s truly a remarkable fragrance; Lancome has outdone themselves once again!! I definitely recommend this one!
