I always feel bad when I receive a great high end product that leaves me less than impressed, and unfortunately this was the case with this foundation. They have a wide range of color options which is always a plus, and usually I am really good at judging the correct shade for myself by online photos alone. This was one of the first color matching fails I've had for myself. The color I chose was WAY too light for me. I was vacationing in Florida, but I compared it to my other usual Wisconsin winter colors, and I was still left with too light of a shade. This product was almost tricky to apply in my opinion, my skin was properly prepped with toner, serum, moisturizer, and primer so I know my skin was not dehydrated, but almost immediately after the foundation touched my skin it was absorb far too quickly which I think resulted in uneven application that looked splotchy and patchy to me. I tried applying with a kabuki brush, a flat foundation brush, a dry & wet beauty blender, and just my hands. I had the most luck with my barehands probably because it was the fastest method of application I could do before my skin was just vacuum suctioning this foundation to it. I thought the foundation was very watery and lightweight when I first dispensed it so it has me so confused on why absorption time was so quick. It does absorb well though, so they get their claim of being transfer proof.

I find a little powder on my nose before application helps. Other than that, it stays put and looks good all day, and I’m definitely not one for midday touchups. In all, despite a little extra effort to keep it on my problem area and having to find a better shade match, it’s easy to work with, and that it’s also comfortable and long-wearing makes this foundation a win for me.

I love the extra skin benefits of ingredients of Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E, Moringa Seed Extracts & Prebiotics. The foundation I received also had sunscreen spf 25 (major plus for me) which is great as I faithfully protect my face everyday from the sun rays but actually still always use extra sunscreen underneath my foundation for extra protection! My thoughts of this foundation is that it is very high quality, lightweight, breathable foundation that didn't irritate my skin, it left my face flawless from morning to night even through intense physical activities. This foundation is suitable for any occasion where you are seeking long lasting staying power with your foundation! This foundation, however, delivers full coverage right off the bat (no need to build) but remains lightweight and comfortable. It promises to be waterproof and transfer-proof as well as sweat resistant; I can definitely back up the claims of being waterproof (you definitely need an oil based cleanser to remove it!) and transfer-proof (no smudging all day and no noticable transfer, even without using setting powder) as well as sweat resistant (I did not test this out but I do feel confident in the claim). It lasts incredibly well - even after a long day, it remains pretty flawless (there was very minimal settling into my fine lines when I didn't set with powder after about 4-6 hours, but it was only just barely noticeable). It even has an SPF of 25 to boot, so it helps protect the skin while it's on.Overall, I REALLY really enjoyed this foundation!! I very highly recommend it if you're looking for a very comfortable, very full coverage natural/satin matte formula that stays put no matter what you're doing.(Please note in the photos that the foundation is about two shades too dark for me [I tested it on days when I didn't have to leave the house], but it's going to be absolutely perfect in a few weeks as summer comes around.)
