I’m sure this foundation will work for some people but frankly this will not work for everyone. Between the off shade descriptions when trying to select the proper shade match and the formula being too dry and sheer and accentuates flaws it’s just not good. The performance and quality is just disappointing overall which is surprising because Lancôme as a brand and it’s products are usually excellent. Sadly this is a hard pass for me. I do not recommend this product. Sorry Lancôme, although I have love for you, this new formula didn’t work for me.

It was very breathable lightweight foundation, and the rest of my makeup sat wonderfully on top, with no separation even after several hours of wear!Extra bonus - SPF35!The new shade range meant this came up a touch light for me compared to my old shade, but after finishing all my makeup it looked so beautiful and natural in the sunlight that I cannot complain really! I received this product from the Lancôme community. The packaging is such high quality with a weighty frosted glass packaging, the lid has the beautiful Lancôme rose engraved onto a golden part. Just the bottle itself gives it such a luxury feel. The pump is easily controllable and distributes the perfect amount. It has a beautiful subtle scent which I really like! I used my fingers, a foundation brush and a beauty blender and it works brilliant with all, I do favour the brush naturally though. I don't normally use foundation of any sort as I have bad scarring from having acne as a teenager and I thought it would make it look worse than it is. How wrong can you be? I used a primer first before applying the foundation, just one pump onto a sponge, wiped it over my cheeks, forehead, nose and chin, then dabbed it all over my face and down my neck. I was extremely surprised to see that the scarring was hardly visible at all, quite the opposite of what I thought would happen. It sets quickly to become transfer proof (no need for setting powder) and did not emphasise my enlarged pores or settle into my fine lines, nor did not oxidise so the colour stays true. Although it has a matte finish, there was a 'lit from within radiance' provided by the glow primer I had used which I thought looked wonderful - that said, the foundation looks just as lovely using a regular primer.The foundation felt incredibly lightweight and comfortable to the point I even forgot I was wearing makeup. Thanks to it's 81% skincare serum formula featuring the skin loving ingredients of Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and Moringa Oil, my mature, combination skin (normal to dry with oil prone T-zone) remained perfectly hydrated so definitely no cake face for me! I wanted to love this wholeheartedly as I am a fan of the original but using this new re-formulated Teint Idole Ultra Wear foundation I've found, once applied upon my skin after my skincare, that it isn't cutting it for me unfortunately. When popping a little blob of product onto my hand before using the colour looks just right but once blended onto my skin it becomes a shade or so too light leaving my face looking paler than usual and I am naturally fairly pale as it is. The shade 210C Beige Porcelaine. This foundation has a more matte finish to it than the original which is not something I would usually go for as I favour the more dewy, hydrated skin look with my makeup base. Though this base is a thinner formula after wearing this for a few hours I've noticed it can make my skin look dry and my pores appear more defined which is not something I want in a foundation. My skin feels soft though when wearing it and the rest of my makeup blends into it well. No pilling or patchy marks. A big plus for me is that there's no oxidation, no orange tide marks around the contours of my face which is absolutely fantastic!! I know foundations have come quite a way with science, formulation and ingredients to prevent oxidising but I'm still find it a feat when I discover products that does leave me orange. Gone are those days hahaa!Packaged in a lovely simply designed translucent glass bottle with black pump, topped off with a black and gold cap embossed with the iconic Lancome rose detail this foundation would not look out of place on a classic dressing table. As for fragrance I can't say I notice any. The foundation smells just as one imagines current foundation to smell like.
