I love this product! It makes me feel refreshed, and my skin looks plump and glowy. I do use this as a second toner. Now hear me out, I'm 48 years so once you're my age you need a little more effort compared to my 20s - 30s. I have been taking care of my skin and due to that, I am always told I look younger than I really am. I use the second from taking advice from a Korean beauty influencer, use the first toner, such as Thayer, to remove that last bit of impurities from my face, then apply Laneige toner to soothe my face and also give hydration. In the evening. After the Laneige toner, I apply serum and night, although it seems that the night moisturizer is not really needed, I just apply because it doesn't hurt and I'm sleeping anyway so no one sees the shininess. ... MoreI love this product! In the morning, the only toner I put is Laneige, followed by serum and sunscreen. Since this toner is a bit pricey compared to Thayers, instead of putting the product onto a cotton ball, I put the toner on my palms and apply directly to my face to avoid wasting the product. I wish I had bought the spay pump so I could spray directly to my face.

I have been using this for almost two years. I started with the mini while on vacation and am now on the jumbo size. I have yet to see much talk about it online, so I had to make a review. First, I love that you can buy a refill and get it with a mist or a pump. I like that I don't have to rebuy the product and the packaging, just the refill ( and it's 5 dollars cheaper). The mist/pump gives you two different ways to use the product. This toner is for everyone, but I have seen some reviews that it has broken people out. That did not happen to me! My skin is combination but is more on the oily side. So, at first, I was unsure if this was for me. After trying the mini, it was amazing! It is true to the description that it is a milky toner. It helped with dry spots, my damaged skin barrier, and redness. I use it morning and night. I have not felt any weird tingling or anything; it feels cool and moisturizes my skin. There is an absorption time because it is a bit thicker in consistency than other toners. But I love that; it feels like a lightweight moisturizer. You will have a perfect makeup base if you use it with a light moisturizer and sunscreen ( and primer). It does not pill with any moisturizer or sunscreen, which I have used from Sephora or the drugstore. If I could give it 10 out of 10, I would! Next time you're shopping, try out a mini!

Gifted by Laneige Europe . It is an amazing product that I think everyone should have as instead of using two products it’s 2 in 1 and saves some time on your daily skincare routine. I was a bit sceptical at first as I thought how can you have a toner and moisturise 2 in 1 product as I always use a toner and separate moisturiser for as long as I can remember. After 2 weeks of usage I guess I was wrong to judge about whether this new product actually works when I first saw it. It’s very lightweight where the texture is more like a toner but once you patted on your skin, you can feel it instantly absorbs into the skin. Unlike a moisturiser which the texture can get too thick and you feel the product is just not getting absorbed so the liquid like formula of this product I feel actually works. I have been converted into using this product as I can see and feel my skin more hydrated now and especially the winter months coming up will need more hydration and this will be my go to product. I also love how you don’t just have to restrict to using morning and evening as during the day if you feel skin need some more nourishment then you can use this product for some much needed extra protection and hydration. As I use a lot of laneige products already so this hybrid of toner and moisturiser will fit nicely into my skincare routine. I can visibly see and feel my skin is firmer and less dry to the touch. If you are into k beauty then I would highly recommend this for you and what’s more you can save a bit of money for buying one combined product instead of two different beauty products.
The first time I try something new, I will use only other products that I’ve used before without issue, so the only variable is the new product. That way, if I get a breakout or irritation I know what to blame. I RARELY notice a difference the first time I use something though. With this one, I used it for the first time before bed. When I woke up the next morning I happened to touch my face and immediately thought, oh wow my skin feels so nice. I used it again during my morning routine. I wasn’t even thinking about the fact that I had tried a new product because I was so busy, but every time throughout the day when I happened to touch my face I immediately thought how nice it felt. All summer I’ve dealt with dry, tight, rough skin. All summer I’ve dealt with dry, tight, rough skin. I have been using this product morning and night for a little over a week and the improvement is very noticeable. If you have oily skin, I’m not sure if it would work the same way. I am 46 years old and am prone to dry skin and occasional breakouts on my jawline. I REALLY like this product. It isn’t something I would have been inclined to try had I not been influenced by a beauty creator and I’m so glad I did.
I’m from Korea and I’ve never found Laneige anything special compared to more innovative, cheaper-but-with-better-ingredients products and brands that they have over there. But since I’ve moved to the UK and it’s hard to find decent K-beauty brands, I decided to give this a go. This toner is light but surprisingly hydrating, and leaves a beautiful subtle glow to the skin. I have very dry skin and although this toner feels very light, adds an additional layer of moisture that gives me that glass skin effect after I’ve applied serum and moisturiser. I change toners every month, and only have one or two I go back to. I rarely repurchase toners, but I will definitely be repurchasing this one. One thing I dislike is the clunky packaging. Oh Laneige, why did you discontinued to old version for this one? :( First off, the good points: I like to apply this toner, especially during the winter, on my sensitive, acne-prone skin. It is lightweight, yet offerts comfort and helps to rebuild a damaged skin barrier. It can double as a moisturizer (perfect for humid summer days). BUT I preferred the old, cult, classic version: it was way more simple. This means that my skin had fewer ingredients to react to. I always react badly to hyaluronic acid, and this toner now gives me some pimples ever since this ingredient was added:( I also think that refillable containers are nice and I agree that the previous container accumulated lots of product that dried down around the lid (I always needed to wipe it off, it was ... MoreOh Laneige, why did you discontinued to old version for this one? :( First off, the good points: I like to apply this toner, especially during the winter, on my sensitive, acne-prone skin. The product is now very tall (doesn’t fit in drawers), bulky (lacks elegance and not ideal for grip), aesthetically unpleasing, pollutes, and the new jumbo lid brings nothing to the table when it comes to refill the product: it is sooo unnecessary. I’m not sure but I also noticed that the new formula is more milky than creamy (in comparison to the old formula). Reformulating was such a bad choice and I miss the old formula. I miss the immediate soothing and comfort the toner used to bring me, it was so thick: now my skin kinda burns when I apply it, not gonna lie. I might as well give the new Ilia toner a go.
I am someone who always likes to use essences/toners in my skincare routine to prep and hydrate my skin. This essence from Laneige is beautiful! I've been really loving it, especially in the colder, drier weather. It's got a lightweight, milky texture (slightly thicker than the Peach and Lily essence, much thinner than the Monday Born source essence). It's very hydrating and feels silky smooth on the skin. I've found that one layer is perfect for daytime use in the winter (as someone with normal skin), but sometimes at night I'll go in with 2 layers to really restore some of that hydration. Along with loving the formula, I also really enjoy the component and the pump. I've been very curious about Laneige skin care for a while so I decided to buy a mini set. I appreciate the milk-like consistency of this toner. It is beautiful and a little goes a long way. It pats nicely into the skin and gave me a beautiful glow. Here's my gripe and why I will not be buying the full size version of this or the water bank moisturizer. If I'm going to spend decent money on skincare I want to have a spa-like experience. I want products to have a luxurious consistency, I want to have an instant glow and I want to enjoy the scent I'm applying. This product hit 2/3 requirements, however it smelt like straw. the old formula milky toner was my holy grail. i basically slathered my entire upper body in that stuff. it never broke me out or gave me little whiteheads before. it was also like liquid moisturizer and would hydrate my skin really well. even in winter it was good enough to hydrate my skin and keep the moisture all night. the new formula isn't as thick?? it looks shiny like it has a lot of moisture, but in reality it's like a film that sits on the skin and doesn't sink in? you can kinda see the dry skin underneath the shiny film, but it's not actually hydrating the skin underneath. it also seems to clog my pores now. i still have a few bottles of the old formula (i stocked up hardcore once i sensed they were reformulating) so the comparisons are based on what i can ... Morethe old formula milky toner was my holy grail. i basically slathered my entire upper body in that stuff. it never broke me out or gave me little whiteheads before. it was also like liquid moisturizer and would hydrate my skin really well. even in winter it was good enough to hydrate my skin and keep the moisture all night. the new formula isn't as thick?? it looks shiny like it has a lot of moisture, but in reality it's like a film that sits on the skin and doesn't sink in? you can kinda see the dry skin underneath the shiny film, but it's not actually hydrating the skin underneath. it also seems to clog my pores now. i still have a few bottles of the old formula (i stocked up hardcore once i sensed they were reformulating) so the comparisons are based on what i can actually compare to in real time, not just based on memory. very disappointed since this used to be my ride or die product that i didn't want to live without. the ONLY thing that i like about this product is that it finally comes in a pump size. if the pump size was released with the OG formula, i would have been a very happy and well moisturized girl.
