Laneige - Lip Glowy Balm - 10g - Blueberry

This is my go-to "purse product" for my lips, I love it to bits! I purchased the shade "Grapefruit", and it's very flattering on my neutral toned, warm-leaning skin. The tint is sheer but can be built up to a deeper color, and it leaves a beautiful glossy shine. The scent of the Grapefruit shade is also my absolute favorite of any lip product I've ever tried, it's a sweet citrusy smell without the sourness of real grapefruit. If you're looking for a very effective lip balm for moisture then I'd look elsewhere, but for a balm works well enough and that looks SUPER pretty, this is THE one!

I love how it doesn't leave that white cast some lipglosses and chapsticks leave on your lips. I'm also on accutane so my lips have been cracking up more often, but this lip mask has been such a life saver! I would use it during the day and at night and I've always went through the day with soft, moisturized lips. The only issue I've had was that the applicator is quite a hassle to use and put away. Instead of using the brush, I just started to use my finger to apply it, which I found to be more convenient. I did notice though they have upgraded their packaging so I might try that one out soon. I cannot detect any scent at all. It is 100% scentless. Maybe I had a dud one? And the ‘tint’ you can’t really call a tint, it applies clear (I bought peach).With that being said, I didn’t buy it for the scent or the tint. I love the lip mask and whilst a different formulation, I do love the moisture it provides. It’s soft and not at all sticky. Very comfortable to wear and relatively long lasting.I do feel though it is over priced when it doesn’t deliver on the scent or the tint. There are definitely equal lip balms which are moisturising and a fraction of the price.I am disappointed because I LOVE the overnight lip masks and swear by them. I find their scents are the perfect balance of being fruity but subtle so was hoping for the same in this product.

Seriously. You'll have a nice tint going and seem moisturized but literally 15 to 20 minutes of wearing this and with a good bit of gloss still on your lips, you'll feel your skin be cracked and dry. Something about this doesn't moisturize me at all. A pack of EOS balms is less than one of these and moisturizes way better so I have to stick with that for now. This gloss smells nice and feels smooth, not sticky at all. It feels moisturizing and just thick enough while not being heavy, but it really does not moisturize my lips at all. The overnight mask is a bit better but only for overnight. Will not buy this balm/gloss again. Might buy the lip mask again.

Nothing Like The Sleeping Mask Scent

I bought this in vanilla because I love the sleep mask in vanilla and I was hoping this formula would have the same scent, it does not. In fact, it had no scent at all. I’m extremely bummed out. I’ve previously tried this formula in a pear scent and that was obnoxiously fragranced, so I expected the same for the vanilla. But nope. The formula itself leaves a lot to be desired for me. It’s clear and extremely thin. And not to mention, I don’t like the applicator. I personally prefer lip balms that have some cushion to the formula and have a stick applicator or apply like a twist up lip balm. My favorites are the mac squirt balm, the rare beauty liquid lip balm, roen’s liquid lip balm, and westman atelier lip balm. Overhyped and overpriced

The balms are just not good. The sleep mask has a weird thick texture that seems legit but it doesn't stay on that long and I still wake up with dry flaking lips. The day glow is alright it's just more a balm / lip gloss that's shiny, nothing special.I don't like the flavour of the set, they taste synthetic - although I guess I've learned that I prefer my balm to have no flavour. Honestly, I expected much more for this price and for all the amazing reviews, - I honestly have no idea what the hype is about.All in all, these are average balms that are too expensive and don't live up to the value. Save yourself the disappointment and some cash and Buy Aquaphor instead, it's £6, it actually works, and has no weird flavour.

Worth the hype and my money!

After *literally* doing hours of research to know which lip products were worth my money (listen, I'm a broke uni student okay... I can't waste or gamble my money on useless things!) I went ahead and got the La Neige balm in mango.The scent is heavenly, it really smells like a ripe, juicy and sweet mango and I'm here for it!! The scent is very "there" when you apply it but it fades after 2min. You can still smell it if you pucker up, and honestly it smells so good that I do smell my lips often lol! But it's not overpowering at all!It doesn't taste bad at all, it even has a mild sweet mango taste to it! The two main ingredients, Shea butter and Murumuru butter, are both excellent natural moisturizers for lips. They help hydrate and nourish my dry lips so well, leaving them soft and supple for a long time. It is very easy to apply the balm, even without a mirror, thanks to the convenient applicator. I like the texture of this lip balm, it goes on very smoothly and helps to cover imperfections. This lip balm is not sticky and feels very comfortable during the day. basic clear balm

I tend to buy Korean brand makeup from the drugstore as it's cheap and if it doesn't work.. it's okay as I didn't spend that much money on it. I'm not sure why I bought this because I was never a fan of Laneige but I guess this was an impulse buy. Anyway, I swiped the tester on my hand and just really loved the sheer lilac colour. I wore this today and this is so mid. It's totally clear on my lips and I'm truly disappointed as I expected a sheer lilac colour. Even a tiny bit will do but this is unfortunately clear. Too bad I can't return it. To be fair l, it is a comfy balm gloss with a sweet smell but as far as the colour, what you swatch on your hand will NOT show up on the lips.. even if like me you have pale lips. What a waste of money.
