Laneige - Water Sleeping Mask EX - 70ml

I bought this because I wanted to try a different sleeping mask. I used Mizon before. I saw that it has lots of good reviews and thought I'd give it a try. What can I say? I'm not really impressed? First of all, the texture looks like a cream but when you scoop it and it touches your skin it becomes watery. It dries super-fast, I don't understand. And when it dries my skin feels tight or something. You know like when you put on an egg white mask? It feels like that. And in the morning, I don't feel the hydrated plump skin other people are talking about. 😔 I don't know, it just feels weird to me. Also, I love how heavenly the smell is but it's too much. CHANGED FORMULA

my skin enjoyed when i use the previous and old laneige water sleeping mask. this one in particular is almost the same like the old one except that this latest ex biome has changed the formula. its very lightweight. sinked into the skin and the next morning your skin is very cool and matte. when you wash it off, it feels very clean and matte.

Effective

Can definitely see the difference the next day. My skin feels more moisturised and alive in the morning. I paired this with the Estee Lauder Advance Night repair and it works amazing. Would definitely recommend this combo! Only use the Sleeping Mask once or twice a week but I use at least 3 or 4 times when necessary.

GOOD

Fragrance a little too much but not to the point that it irritate my sensitive skin so if you gave sensitive skin, would recommend to try the small one first. Skin honestly feel amazing in the morning and a little really goes a long way. I used it when I feel like I been stripping my skin too much or if it seem dry. I tried to use one week straight even tho on the packaging it said not to but I don't think there's any bad effect (was too lazy to buy night moisturiser that time so this was the only one I had). But I did went back to using twice a week now. Would highly recommend but if course, ways try the small bottle one first.

Great product but psst buy it in korea if you can

this is amazing. Its the perfect gel consistency for my oily skin, but it does have a quite strong fragrance, so take note if you’re sensitive. I use this as a moisturiser in the day and my makeup sits amazingly on top of it. Finished this thing in slightly under a month

Okay

It has better ingredients than the previous version. I tried both and they have the same consistency. The new one sure have tad more moisturizing effect. However, it takes time to settle in your skin for daytime wear and i prefer cream over the gel-like consistency for nighttime wear.

Smells lovely

I’ve been using this for around 6 weeks now and it’s probably my favourite part of my night routine. I really like how it smells when I’m putting it on, but the smell doesn’t linger for long. I usually do some meditation whilst I let it soak in. The little scoop thing is cute. I like how my face feels in the morning. It doesn’t leave residue on my pillow and the texture is nice, it glides on my face. I’ll be buying it again when I run out.

Still on the fence about sleeping mask

I have always found sleeping mask to be too rich for me and I never like tossing around, spreading the cream all over my pillow. This small tub allows me to try without burning a hole in my wallet. I spread a thin layer instead of the usual amount. Wake up with rather greasy looking (and feeling) face, but once I wash off, I can see that my skin is noticeably hydrated. Well.... It does the work, but I still prefer a less greasy feeling face when in bed.

YES SO LOVE

Anytime my skin is dry, flaky or feels off I use this and it works like a charm. Perfect for winter weather but even in sunny tropical countries like SG it works so good. I like the new formulation and this is a must have when traveling overseas to cold countries. I should buy the mini but I use it so much I need a big one. Always repurchasing this and it’s a staple in my skin care routine. Bought on sale so extra worth it!!

I haven’t used moisturizer in over 8-9 mths due to pregnancy mood. I just bought this to try to see if it will fix my dry flaky skin due to hormones I think after giving birth. I’ve used this before, also the lavender one, so I know it’s good. But I only used this for 3 days, and my skin has improved tremendously! WINNERRRR
