Loved the thick, fluffy formula. The smell reminds me of banana candy, or banana runts which is a little nostalgic. I found the formula to be soothing and the smell to be pleasant. Overall, pleased with this balm as it resurrected my dry winter lips. The only setback was that in really cold conditions I found the balm to become more opaque which at times wasn’t super attractive. , but is to be expected with more natural ingredients..

This is my GO-TO LIP BALM: For sensitive-to-Ecezma prone lips/skin. This has a thick consistency depending on how you apply it. Just a little heads up with that being said it's going to be sticky. This product is best used as a light balm(Little goes a long way believe me) or a night-time lip mask. It does have long wear if you let it sit for a little bit. I've used the brand Lanolips for two years strong. I own multiple products there's because of how well it's made. It works for me personally. This balm is what I mostly use as an essential balm I've tested cheaper priced lip balms that claim it will nourish, repair, and heal your chapped lips. I've been to the degree where I have to be able to move my lips by applying this blam. It's wonderful, it's the best ... MoreThis is my GO-TO LIP BALM: For sensitive-to-Ecezma prone lips/skin. Makes my lips look great when it's fully done repairing. I really love the quality of the product. I don't expect everyone to have to use it to the extent that I do. But I hope this helps decide if it's worth the price-performance-what it's meant to do for you.

I love so many of Lano Lips products like the 101 Ointments. However this was such a miss for me. The sheen is so pretty, however if you apply a little too much it becomes milky and cloudy and will look so gross. As for the scent, the banana was sooo great when I bought it, after 2 months it now smells rancid! It's so horrible, I had to get rid of it.

I am in love with the idea of this, but not so much with the actual product. I love the banana smell/taste. I love the fine silver glitter that stays on my lips (reminds me of those Bon Bons lip glosses from the early 00s). I love that it is made with natural lanolin as the main ingredient. The yellow color is not noticeable on my lips. But I just don’t love the way this sits on my lips. It comes out of the tube very thick, and melts/emulsifies into almost an oil when it comes into contact with my lips. The oily texture allows it to sink in, but what doesn’t sink in slips and slides all over outside of my lip line - causing silver glitter specks to sit above and below my lips. Even worse, what does sink into my lips seems to moisturize very temporarily. It does not ... MoreI am in love with the idea of this, but not so much with the actual product. I thought about using this as a cuticle oil (hence the 3 in 1 claim), but I don’t want glitter on my fingers. I will use it up on my lips since it is nice to have in a pinch. I enjoy the banana/glitter idea - that is fun! But it is not practical in application so I will not repurchase.

Got this for my 'tis the season to be addicted to lip balm' phase. After the first use, my chapped lips were soft again and I don't need to apply it over and over and over again all day like other balms and glosses. Sound purchase, practically speaking. No high gloss, just soft, dependably supple lips.

Super moisturizing, Not pretty

This is my favorite lip moisturizer. I have a medical condition that often gives me heavily chapped lips that resist getting better, and wearing this for 1-2 days/nights totally fixes them up. I mostly use it as a night treatment/mask, and it stays on throughout the night. It both effectively helps the dead skin that hangs off of chapped lips to come off, and moisturizes and repairs the new skin underneath. It smells like artificial banana- strong enough to notice when applying and knowing it's still on, but not enough to give me a headache. It's long lasting, but that means it's a little on the sticky side- not intensely sticky though. It has no taste, which I like. It's shiny, and also shimmery- it has pinkish-reddish fine shimmer in it, which is pretty. The one ... MoreThis is my favorite lip moisturizer. The one thing I'm really not a fan of about is the color- it's generally sheer-ish, but a light yellow, which looks a bit odd; I think it would be more noticeable and even more odd looking on deeper skin tones. It can also be a little difficult to get out- it's a squeeze tube, and particularly when it gets cold can take some work. However it never actually solidifies or anything, so it's not a big deal.Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who wants a phenomenal lip moisturizer, and cares more about effectiveness than aesthetics.

Why include glitter?
2 December 2020

I love this balm, I really do. It's hydrating, it smells like Banana Laffy Taffy, it's shiny, and it lasts on my lips for hours. I bought it for plane rides and it works well in my area's dry climate for winter, when I'm prone to dry lips. I was also willing to pay a decent amount of money for a lip balm because of the inclusion of such wonderful butters and oils and the EXclusion of petroleum, which is really important to me. But I always wondered why it felt slightly gritty when I would put it on, like I had applied gloss at the beach and the wind had blown small grains on it. Turns out, I found when I applied it with my fingers as opposed to straight from the tube, there's super small pink/gold glitter particles in this? If I wanted a lip scrub I would've bought one! This would be five stars and my HG lip balm except for that. Absolutely bananas.

delicious hydrating balm

I love this. It is rich and hydrating and smells like foam banana sweets. A little goes a long way so even though it's expensive for a lip balm, a tube lasts a while. It also sticks around on the lips well. My only caveat is that this product contains a bit of sparkle which is visible on the lips. It doesn't feel gritty at all; I just know that not everyone would want a glittery product.

This was my first time trying lano and I eventually settled on this one instead of the original because it has such good reviews! It works really really well to hydrate my lips. My lips are quite dry especially when I get anxious and definitely were in need of repair! this product is amazing. The only thing is I feel that it can leave a white cast on the lips, especially if you apply it liberally (as I am always tempted to do because it feels so nice). This isn't a huge problem, because if I'm layering it on thickly at night obviously I'm not concerned about how it looks, but still worth mentioning. I also hadn't realized the amount of "sheen" that's in this. Overall this product works really well and I'm excited to try other Lanolips products! I think next I'll try a tinted lip balm or the original 101.

Really enjoyed the hydrating boost from this balm! It's a little thicker than the others offered by lanolips, but that makes it super long lasting. Forms a good barrier for windy or dry days to keep your lips moisturized! The shimmer is subtle but adds a little extra sparkle to an already great balm :)My only note is that less is more! When applied too generously, it can sometimes appear a little milky on the lips!
