Lanolips - Lanostick The Original Balm - 3.3g

I am very picky about lip balms and textures -- cannot handle anything sticky or goopy or too slippery -- and this is fantastic. It's exactly how I want a balm to be: smooth and glides on without feeling too glossy or sticky.I can tell my lips are actually moisturized-feeling all day, and unlike some other lipbalms, you don't need to constantly reapply to keep that feel. Love this stuff!! Great scent, too.

Lano The Original LanoStick was a lifesaver when i accidentally used a lip gloss that had an ingredient I am allergic to. My lips were so swollen and cracked. It was very painful and most things applied made them hurt more. I was able to use this and I loved it so much I am almost finished with this tube. It is in my purse so I am never without it. My lips are smooth and moisturized. I will be repurchasing soon.

Honestly, it's up to you

If you like light lemon scent, then you'll like this. If you like a thicker yet smooth application, you'll like this. I like it. Is it worth almost $20 for the amount of product...in my opinion no. I would buy this again if I couldn't get to a *the store that shall not be named* and buy the glow recipe strawberry lip balm (which is like over $20). So yeah, if you bougie like me (taurus gang) and want to splurge on a nice lip balm you MIGHT like this...if not look for what else is out there...no biggie.

I would buy again

This literally saved my lips! I've always been a chapstick kinda girl as opposed to lipstick, but while away on a trip I bought a small tin of plain old Vaseline and it somehow "burned" my lips! They were sore, swollen, red and peeling. Tried a couple of chapsticks from my local natural grocery store when we got back but still no luck. Landed on Lanostick at Ulta and finally success and relief! It's nourishing, even if I haven't applied in a while I can tell it's still working to keep my lips soft and moist! I will never let myself run out again!

Lanolips to the Rescue

My lips were dry, chapped, peeling and even bleeding a little bit. I used Lemonaid Scrubba-Balm and within a couple of days my skin condition had greatly improved. With continued use, my lips are now soft. The cracks and peeling are things of the past. This is like a miracle. I am so happy to have found your products. I live in Minnesota and winters are very cold and very dry. I’ve never used a product that heals and nourishes my lips as well as Lanolips. I agree with Francene, Burt’s Bees is useless compared with Lanolips. Winter: Bring it On!

Pretty great.

I got this ahead of a massive surgery, knowing the incredible dryness of the facility all too well. I usually smear on 101 when I have a hospital stay, but knew this one would really limit my activity sharply for a few days so I needed something other people could put on me more easily. After a bit of yelping and giggling when my mom who has never used any lip products whatsoever in her whole life started smearing it around up near my nose like a giant clown smile, we got it sorted and it was much easier to deal with. I think I prefer the original stick though, it seemed like the mint doesn't have the staying power? But it was nice and fresh feeling.

Probably won't repurchase

I blindly bought this lip balm simply because I thought the packaging was superb. While the balm glides on smoothly and the slight scent of lemon pledge smells oddly fresh, my lips felt dry after 30 minutes. I found layering Aquaphor over it really helped lock in the moisture. Overall, for the price and how quick you'd go through the tube given how often you'd need to reapply, I don't think I'd repurchase but I am curious to try to their ointment!

Tried it

My lips get chapped so quickly. I bought the lanostick and tree hut lip butter at the same time. Compared to the tree hut lip butter (6 bucks), the lanostick did not work at all. I went through it fast cause despite using it, my lips remained chapped. I reapplied throughout the day, everyday. I thought because it was more expensive it would work better, but that was not the case. I would not buy this product again, and would not recommend it.

Unpleasant to use, smells like Pledge

I have been searching for a replacement balm ever since my holy grail lip balm was absolutely ruined by reformulation. I was hoping the lanolin and beeswax combination in this would work. Unfortunately, I am still looking after trying this product. I was immediately turned off by the smell when I opened the tube, so much so that I almost didn't even put it on. It is a little bit less offensive when it's actually on my lips, but I still catch the odd whiff of lemon, and it just makes me want to scrub this off. It adds more shine to my lips as well, and makes them more slippery than I like, more so than the Lanolips ointment, probably because this has added oils. one of my fave formulas, but don't order it in hot weather

I love many Lano products and this is one of my favorite lip balms because the mintiness and texture are just right (even better than the slightly mintier mint 101 ointment, imo). I would love to find this mint flavor in more Lano products because I don't enjoy the fruity and gourmand flavors much. (A golden salve with this would be even better as my nightly lip mask, and the tinted balms would be my everyday lip colors if they were minty like this.) This product doesn't get 5 stars because I ordered it in the summer and it was an absolute mess that I was only partially able to salvage. I'd really only recommend ordering this item online if it will be delivered in cool weather. If it's hot out, you'd better go find it in person instead.
