Lansinoh Washable Nursing Pads 4 Pads & Wash Bag

Upon first look, these nursing pads seemed very thin so I was worried about the absorbency. I ran them through a quick wash cycle and was pleased to see that they came with a washable mesh bag to put the pads in so you did not lose them in the wash or dryer. After drying these I couldn’t wait to put them on. They were SUPER soft against my skin and fit comfortably in my nursing bra. I was super surprised that they absorbed any leaks from my milk and also sweat but didn’t feel super damp against my skin.Some things I liked about these nursing pads were the fact that they are thin and hide well but are also super absorbent. They never had a smell and the wicking material pulled any moisture away from your breasts. They were super breathable and the material was super soft. I have ran into some issues with others being itchy but I couldn’t even tell I had a pad on.I don’t have anything negative to say about them! Almost perfect reusable nursing pads!

Just to give a little background of my nursing pads journey, I have used reusable nursing pads for all three of my children so far. The first few weeks I can only use disposable nursing pads due to the amount of milk that leaks from the breast opposite the one from which the baby is nursing. Beyond that point it is only at night when I need disposable nursing pads, because no reusable nursing pad I have tried has been absorbent enough to last the night.That being said, I tried these at night and they leaked. Although, I do feel they absorbed more than others that I have used.Yet, during the day, I love wearing them more than any other pads I have tried! They never leaked once for me during the day, so that is a definite plus!I don't love that they aren't supposed to go in the dryer, because it isn't most convenient when you need a clean pair and have to wait for them to dry out. Comfortable nursing pads that really work!

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this washable nursing pads. As someone who has frequent let downs, a good nursing pad is an essential part of my daily outfits. My daughter has latch issues leaving my nipples quite sensitive. The disposable cotton pads I used with my last baby were increasing my irritation this time around and I wasn’t a fan of the waste the disposable pads created either. Enter the Lanisoh washable nursing pads! The fabric is so soft and comfortable, it honestly increased the comfort of the nursing bras I was wearing. The only downside is that while disposable pads seem to take the moisture into the pad and away from the breast, these pads keep your skin somewhat moist after a let down. This is not helpful if you’ve had issues with yeast infections of your nipples but with frequent changing of the pad is not an issue. Overall these nursing pads have been a lifesaver offering comfort, protection of my clothing and easy wash ability. I will definitely be buying more!

Great Reusable Nursing Pads

I received the Lansinoh reusable nursing pads from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. I am currently nursing my second baby and have used a variety of nursing pads, both reusable and disposable. Prior to trying these, my go-to nursing pads were an organic bamboo material. While very soft and absorbent, The material was not breathable and got super uncomfortable in warm weather or when I'd wake up with hot flashes in the middle of the night (thanks postpartum hormones). I did want to test the absorbency, so I put some water on the pad and am happy to report that it was nicely absorbed without leaks. I have washed and dried them a couple of times now (in the provided mesh bag), and so far they have held up well. I am always happy to find a great product that is environmentally friendly, and it is a bonus that these are also more comfortable than their disposable counter part. The only con I have found is that they are asymmetrical in a sort of "teardrop" shape. For me personally, the pad easily shifts and ends up sticking out of my nursing tank more than the standard circular pads of other brands.

No more digging through the laundry trying to find loose nursing pads.The only reason that I did not give these a 5 star review is because of the size. I wish that they came in different sizes. These were a little big for me coverage wise. They didn't always fit inside a bra completely depending on the style of bra. With that said I would still buy them for their quality and recommend them to others!

Lightweight, breathable and comfortable

Additionally, I love how the nursing pads came in a washer friendly pouch for easy cleaning and storing. I tried the Lansinoh Washable Nursing Pads and they were a game changer for me. It's like not wearing anything at all under my bras. These pads are so comfortable and so soft, so gentle to my skin. I can't even feel they're there, nor can see them. I usually wear sports bras, so under a vest you can see what's under them. Wearing these pads, you just can't tell they're there. I'd say that the Lansinoh Washable Nursing Pads are the Rolls Royce of all breast pads, so would highly recommend to use them to any breastfeeding mom. I am giving these 5 stars but I want to let you know the things I don’t love too so other moms can make an informed decision before purchasing. Why I love them? They are soft, washable, and overall work really well! I have used washable ones before and these are the softest ones I have ever had. Nursing can be a bit rough at first and the last thing I wanted was something against my skin that would irritate already sore areas. Thankfully, these are wonderful for comfort. They are absorbent! They help catch most of my let down (I basically shoot this liquid gold out like it’s a competition) and for the most part it does a decent job! Lastly, they are convenient! Okay, so some flaws.. if I have a significant amount of let down, these will begin to leak. They make a nice puddle at the bottom of my bra (where my now saggy boob rests on top of my now pudding belly) My bra gets wet and the pads will be completely soaked. This usually doesn’t happen unless I have had my milk come in already and they were already a bit damp. But you should know, the disposable kind are just more absorbent, I just don’t like the disposable kind at all. The other flaw is they can mildew. (I feel like some of that is user error and not the products fault.) I didn’t rinse my pads after they are soaked but just let them air dry until I wash them. Well…. I would recommend NOT doing that. I started seeing little spots forming and then one pad that is completely covered in large and small spots. The only reason I think it is mildew was from reading other peoples reviews. I did give them a little bleach bath and it completely got rid of all the spots. So, again, another pro for these bad boys. As a mom with a good amount of milk that just drips, I would still say these are a win! Hope it helps!
