This is a great condiment that's very versatile. It adds both taste and texture to any dish. It's spicy, but not overly so. My only problem is that the jar I received leaked lots of oil all over the place. It was well packed by the seller, who even took extra precautions to prevent a leak, but it still leaked a major amount of the product, leaving mostly just the remaining solids. I saw this happen with a previous jar that I bought, and I think it's a problem with the manufacturer. I highly recommend this product, but if you have to get it shipped, get ready for a total mess and loss of the liquid when you unpack.

This stuff is amazing. I wonder where it’s been my whole life. I put it in cheap ramen and it went from just ok to daaaaang!!!! Just a little spice but it doesn’t build the more you eat. It just levels off at a very good level. The flavor and crunch is really where it’s at. I cannot believe anyone would give this a one star. It amps the flavor of whatever you put it on. Just now I put it in a can of chicken Vienna sausages, and man it’s so good!

Great chili crisp. I tried a few other brands and paid a bundle for 4-6 oz bottles and this a humble $3.88 made us fabulous tofu for Thanksgiving. Walmart saved me a 20miles trip to an Asian food market. This is a must have ingredient and I used to buy a bunch on shopping trips to Chinatown in NYC. The price is fair and comparable to Chinatown’s supermarkets.. let’s hope Walmart keeps this chili scrip in stock all the time.

I was hoping this might be a product similar to David Chang's Momofuku Chili Crunch oil. It's far from it. The chilies are not roasted, they're scorched. This chili oil has the exact flavor of something over roasted to the point of ruining it. For my taste, the spiciness is fine, both from the jar and on something like hummus. The only crunch seems to be from over roasted and carbonized chilies and onions. Unfortunately, there are no toasted sesame seeds in the mix, which would probably be scorched too if that were the case. I'll finish the bottle, but I won't buy it again.
Ok im addicted. This is the perfect mix of garlic and salt and sweet and heat with the added perfection crunch! I bought a case so I never come close to running out. I eat this on everything and sneak a small taste just plain every now and then. I use this in all Asian dishes as well as Mexican fare. It's a great addition to chili and any bean dishes. I have also used it to stir into plain noodles with added cilantro and sliced spring onions for a heavenly quick lunch -fantastic served hot or as a cold noodle salad. Try this item and you'll see what I mean. The possibilities and uses are endless!
I have to say, the little soybeans are annoying to pick out.This is the only chili crisp I've tried, and there could be better brands out there but there are no Asian markets near me so I buy this, and I still love it. You get a little toasty umami flavor with heat. I put this stuff on sandwiches, mac n cheese, hot dogs, chicken tenders, in sushi. It makes a great spicy tuna roll.
Okay, so i bought this after seeing this all over tiktok. Decided to give it a go. My oh my, I am glad I did. I put this on everything now. You could write a whole cookbook based around this stuff. I cook up some frozen potstickers, add it to that, ramen, I really wanna make some grilled cheese in it. OH AND CHOCOLATE. Sounds bananas right? Well it is, its so good its bananas. I bought it a week ago and its almost gone.
I had never tried chili crisp before and I must say it’s the perfect accompaniment to most foods! It’s has that lovely flavor and spice that is present in many Asian dishes and sauces. So far I have topped homemadeLo mein as well as added to a sour cream sauce for homemade roasted poblano pepper and black bean egg rolls!I am thinking perhaps a cocktail sauce for shrimp. The possibilities are endless! Shouldhave purchased 10 jars lol.
my sister raved about this sauce. i dont consume hot food. However, just smelling it in the jar made my mouth salivate. one of the best condiments ever! definitely spicy but used cautiously i could handle it. doesnt linger on the palate too long. So full of flavor!You won't regret trying it.
