You need to turn the handle in order to release or retract the hose. Comes with wall hooks (installation needed), you can put it on the hooks, or on the ground. The snap on hose adapters are in 1/2 size, both for the inlet and outlet. Additional O rings or washer is provided. Moving parts could be loose over time and need to be re-tuned. All parts can be disassembled to check the leaking.
