Beautiful bottle but little confusing on how to use it? Especially for a beginner like me
I wish there was a video to teach how to properly use a Larq bottle. Especially for beginners like me who has no idea how to start this, like how to turn it on and how to turn if off. The instructions were little blurry, like I get the idea that it has different cycles but I still was struggling to understand how to turn on those cycles. So I wish there was a video to visually learn how to use the Larq bottle. Cuz I am a visual learner, I understand things better if I see it step by step. Because if I read it only from a writen manual then it's still blurry and still not comprehend 100%. So I do wish there was a video to teach me how to use a Larq bottle. I struggled at the beginning to be completely honest. Please make an introduction video about Larq bottle and teach us how to properly use it. That will be very helpful. Please make it available video in your website. Or you could send a link video to every customer who bought a Larq bottle through their emails. A teaching video would be helpful. So we as customers feel prepared how to use it properly and knows what to expect about the Larq bottle.... Show more

Enjoying the clean water of my PureVis!
Overall, I'm really loving the PureVis bottle. I held off reviewing it until I'd spent some time with it (I've had it for about 3 months now and I I use it daily and I'm pretty picky with how my water tastes). I did some home "tests" between the PureVis bottle compared to other double walled vacuum sealed water bottles that don't have the UV light technology to see if there was a difference. In general, I find that most vacuum sealed insulated bottles are better at keeping water tasting fresher and less stale than any plastic/non-insulated bottles. With the PureVis, I have found that it keeps the water tasting fresher for longer and overall the stinky water bottle smell is moderately decreased even compared to other vacuum sealed insulated bottles (without the UV ... I also prefer the insulated version to the non insulated (which I also have) as I like having cool refreshing water and it does make a difference during the day!Cons: I wish the bottle came in a bigger size (at least 1L which the non-insulated ones come in) as I have to fill it up multiple times a day and I like having cool water to drink. I also want to take it into the backcountry and having a larger capacity would be nice. I'd be ok having a bigger water bottle to carry around as I wouldn't have to fill it up as often. It's also quite slippery and I'm definitely afraid to drop it. I bought the Active Cap add-on in the end, and it helps though I'm afraid to hold it exclusively by the cap for longer periods as other reviewers have mentioned that it eventually stretches and the bottle has fallen out. The non-insulated version, with the silicone sleeve is much easier to carry and not as slippery. I also wish the cap came in other fun colours as it does take away a bit from the nice aesthetic of the bottle.Customer Service: I had a small issue with the first bottle as the UV light cap was malfunctioning. LARQ was responsive and after sending some pictures and video to demonstrate the defect, they replaced my bottle and I'm happy to say the new ones if working great!Overall: I love the UV light technology with the vacuum sealed insulated bottle and from my own personal tastes/experience, it does make a difference in keeping the water tasting fresher and less stale for longer. I also like that in a pinch, I can fill it up from a less desirable source and the UV light will do its magic (I've taken it on day hikes in the mountains to try and it's worked well in adventure mode). I'd recommend the Active Loop or the sleeve to help carry it because it is slippery though it would be nice if it actually came with the bottle itself!... Show more

This is a great product, well thought out and build form high quality products! Everything screams “premium”, starting from the packaging and to the bottle itself. Although this is quite heavy for an everyday carry-on product, keep in mind it is build around a vacuum-type insulation system that really keeps products cool for about 8-9 hours. I will perform some thermometer tests in a couple of days to actually record the temperature drop over time, but the initial field test place this above other single-wall solutions. The optional protective sleeve looks and feels great as well and is a welcome addition, since it provides a grabbing loop. It adds a “vintage” look to the whole setup and pairs great the colors (mine was Monaco Blue and my wife`s is Seaside Mint). ... The minor complaints are regarding the max water level indicator that is hard to see and the lack of a protective cap of the USB-C charging point of the cap. An anti-grip rubber bottom would also be welcomed, providing some anti-slip and protection to the paint. More so, I wish they had a bottle that has a filtration, UV cleaning system and is insulated as well. Overall this is a 5* product, with impressive quality and beautiful design. It really delivers on eliminating that terrible “bottle smell” which is amazing!Unfortunately there are two major flaws which has meant I don’t use this very often.1) The insulated version is WAY too heavy (on its own already and even more so when filled with water) making it not practical to bring around - the purpose of this bottle! If I’m at home, I can just wash it. The ‘sports’ version (non insulated) which my friend has is much lighter which I would buy instead if I were to do it again.2) Due to the material the bottle chips and dents very very easily which takes away from the great design aesthetic as the metal under the paint comes through.Overall - great product ... Nifty Bottle, Just Not For Us... Maybe
I want to start by saying the bottle is a great idea and I'm sure others will have a different experience. We purchased the bottles with the intent to have better tasting and odorless water. However, my wife and I are disappointed with our bottles. We chose this brand/bottle because the idea of self-cleaning was nifty and the testimony's from other buyers seemed high. I was eying this bottle for a while, but I couldn't justify the full price. So I was really happy when the price dropped for the Black Friday. I got the smaller size because the large one didn't come in all the fun colors and I kind of regret it now, I feel like the bigger size would work better for my needs. I'm a flight attendant and I appreciate I don't have to carry bottles of water for my hotel layovers and I drink tap water, cleaning it in this bottle. I'm still wondering if it's safe to use the bottle with tap water in foreign countries that don't recommend drinking tap water. I couldn't find this information online and customer service didn't answer me either.Also, I got the travel sleeve and I don't like it, for several reasons:1) the light grey fabric ... In terms of the bottle's weight, if you've used other insulated bottles before, the LARQ bottle won't be much heavier to you. Another thing to take note of is the cap's charging time. Since it's advertised to last a month, charging it takes a couple hours. In short, it's a cool water bottle with a sleek modern design that serves as a great conversation starter, but unfortunately, didn't quite live up to my expectations.... Show more

Very happy husband (and jealous wife)
Bought the limited edition eucalyptus green 17 oz bottle for my husband for Valentine’s Day, and he loves it. The color looked great online but is even better in person—less turquoise hues and more army green vibes, instead, which he absolutely loved (and so did I—I’m jealous!). We each had a bottle already, thanks to him, and this green one makes a great addition to our set.His previous one (which he still uses), was the limited edition blue, and he accidentally dropped it on concrete, denting the side. So, to help protect his new one (and my current one, which is white/gray), he also just bought us sleeves for each one, and we’re loving those, too. Love Larq, their customer service, and most importantly, their products, which have worked really well for us.... Show more

Not every product is perfect. In my case the wand in my LARQ pitcher could not be recharged after its initial charging. Perhaps you see a two star review coming. Not at all. One does not always get perfection but with reputable companies one can count on things being made right.The service I received from the LARQ staff was prompt, concerned, and courteous. Indeed, I was busy, and I dawdled in pursuing the matter after reviving their initial response to my concern. But the LARQ people wouldn’t let me. They reminded me that I had communicated a problem to them and needed to follow up. Once I showed them proof that the problem was with the wand and not due to a mistake I was making, they immediately arranged for a new wand to be sent out. I am writing before it has ...
