Lattafa Pride Ansaam Gold Eau De Parfum Spray 100ml

I feel like Lataffa is an outstanding perfume brand. I'm new to perfume collecting. Tik Tok has introduced me to arab perfumes, and Lataffa was one of the most popular brands. I was attracted to Ansaam Gold because people described it as a sweet, marshmallowy, gourmand scent. I love sweet scents, so I thought this perfume was ideal for me. Also, I love the bottle! Looks so sophisticated and luxurious! When I first sprayed the perfume, I was a bit perplexed if I liked it. I personally didn't smell a marshmallowy scent. I smelled more floral with some of the fruit notes. I like the scent when I sniff it from the bottle, but it's a bit hit or miss when I spray it on my arm for some odd reason. I adore this perfume. If you like Oriana, don't even think twice. Just get this. If you're not familiar with Oriana, this is a sweet, berry, marshmallow, yummy smelling scent. This bottle smelled good right from the jump without macerating. I believe it will get even better the longer it sits. The sillage is amazing and it lasts for hours. The bottle is hefty.I'm not getting paid to say any of this. It seriously is a gorgeous fragrance, especially for this price. If you like this scent profile, just buy it!

An Old Floral Scent

I bought this blindly A) because the bottle is stunning; B) the price point justified taking a chance and; C) someone on IG said layering this with lattafa's ‘Affection' would make you smell like a snack. The written description of the perfume sounds wonderful but if you're anything like me, I had no idea what to expect, but I wanted it to be sweet.It's not sweet. It's a floral through and through. There's not much warmth, not much musk, it's very grandma-floral. Close dupe for PDM Oriana

I bought a sample of PDM Oriana and I instantly fell in love with it but I can't justify the $400+ bottle. I saw good reviews of Lattafa Ansaam gold and I just know I had to get my hands on this gem. The opening note is 100% identical to Oriana. Sweet, fresh and clean fragrance. After 10 mins, Oriana is more sweeter whereas Ansaam Gold is more fresh. The mandarin and pear notes came through which leave a more vibrant smell compared to Oriana. Overall, if you don't want to pay $$$, this is a really good dupe (even better smell and longevity) for Pdm Oriana.

Update--- 3.30.24 I like it. It smells much better after letting it sit for some time. I'm digging it. It pretty, feminine, not as powdery, n the citrus seems to have settled and blended better. It does smell a little mature, but not in a bad way per se, just smells "established".It's alright, but it's not for me. Maybe it needs to sit and macerate. I feel like it's mature. My kids think it smells like orange juice. It reminds me of powdery sweet orange juice and roses or something. But try it yourself. My nose isn't trained yet.

Lattafa Ansaam Gold Eau De Parfum

I bought this fragrance after smelling it on a friend and seeing the great reviews and I don't regret my purchase. Being a scent person, I can say that this is divine. With just about all Middle Eastern perfumes, they must be allowed to macerate so the full bodied aroma can come through. I love Middle Eastern fragrances because they are of quality and are great dupes or near dupes of the more expensive designer and niche fragrances, but at an accessible price. Ansaam Gold is sweet and I can definitely smell that candy note. This is a fragrance that is great on its own and will also layer easily with vanilla or fruity scents.

Love Don't Be Shy/ Oriana Dupe - Similar DNA.

One of the top notes is stated as being Mandarin and I definitely smell that but I wouldn't go so far as to say its overly citrusy because the vanilla and musk prevent it from being so. It's so not what I'm used to but I absolutely adore it, I love pairing it with EOS 24 Hr Moisture Body Lotion in Vanilla Cashmere. It's such a fun, girly, feminine perfume. In terms of longevity, I think it holds up well for what it is. When sprayed on clothes I definitely smell it up until the next day.Compliments: I've gotten several compliments while wearing this perfume but twice while I was at the gym SWEATING! I was in the locker room and a woman stopped me dead in my tracks to ask me what I had on, she said it smelled a lot like Lychee to her and I thought that was so interesting! Another time a member at the gym came up to me and said "You smell like a superstar, you smell like Barbie!" and listen, I don't know what that means but i'll take it LOL!This review is entirely too long but I'll say that a lot of the reviews have mentioned that this perfume smells like Love Don't Be Shy by Killian and Oriana and I'd say it has a similar DNA, I did a lot of research on affordable dupes and stumbled upon Lattafa's Ansaam Gold but prior to choosing this one I ordered Dossier's Floral Marshmallow because it was stated as also being a dupe but immediately ended up returning it because I could not get with the smell at all! If you're like me stuck between two choices, I promise Ansaam Gold is the right choice :)

Need to macerate?

I'll start with the packaging. It's my first Arabic perfume, so naturally I was highly impressed with the box , the presentation, the bottle! Everything screams $120+ perfume. The value is there. Longevity? A beast. Now to the scent itself... I read descriptions, watched reviews like crazy, yet I took the chance of blind buying as in never smelled it before. I own Killian and the notes for Oriana seem to be close enough, as these are 2 that this perfume gets compared to I thought it was a safe blind buy. Not so much. I don't hate it but don't love it either. On me it pulls A LOT more floral than Killian. Not as sweet as everyone describes. I can't even get the candy notes at all. I dropped a star for that. The rose note that was bothering me so much finally dies down quite a bit. I still layer it with vanilla body sprays to give it a less floral tone but it has gotten smoother. Still keeping the 4 stars. I hope it only keeps getting better.

Orange Creamsicle

If you like the way Orange Creamsicle pops smell you will love this. This is a great gourmand for summertime. I am gonna pair this with LATTAFA QAED AL FURSAN UNLIMITED. LATTAFA QAED AL FURSAN UNLIMITED Smells like Coconut, Vanilla and musk. The two combined smell like a pina colada milkshake. The musk in Ansaam gold smells like a sweet milky candy. The top notes stick around, you really do get an orange creamsicle vibe. Love this. 10/10 I would recommend buying the two. Whoever said it smelled like old lady needs to get their nose checked lol

The perfect all-rounder!

It's a very pleasant fragrance of fruits, vanilla, floral and musk. It's sophisticated, warm, alluring and subtly sweet. It's so beautifully balanced that you can wear this day and night. The longevity and projection is not that great on my skin that soaks everything up like a thirsty beast so layering on your clothes I think is a must if you're like me. I will never not have this fragrance on hand. The perfect all-rounder..bonus points because definitely I think both women and men can rock this!!!
