I love the look -- very rich looking. The only thing I would say negative, is that the handle and lever are very hot to the touch, so I have to wear a glove or use a towel to handle it. Not very practical. If you're using this on the daily, you may want to find one that's friendly to the touch. If you like a great-looking kettle for the top of your stove and only use it occasionally, you'll love this one!

Honestly it is a very pretty teapot, I was looking for a navy blue one for awhile. Unfortunately I had to return it. The pot is not user friendly and it is awkward pouring it. The handle only is partially protected and the metal gets very hot. My husband burned himself 3 times making our coffee in the French press. I think it is dangerous.

This tea kettle is stunning! However, upon closer examination I determined it would be too difficult for me to use with my small hands. Although the handle is ergonomic, the spout latch does not stay open on its own. You have to hold it up with a finger which does not allow you to move your hand back on the handle. Sadly I had to return it.

So, I've has this tea pot for 2 months now and as pretty as it is it STINKS for daily use. It's ergonomically incorrect and awkward to pour. It takes forever to boil, and the handle get so hot when it finally does that you have to use a pot holder to pour. I wouldn't buy this again or recommend it. It is pretty, not very useful.

ill be returning this item. Even when half full, the water boils out of the spout all over the stove. The spout does not make a high pitched whistle. I purchased this for a gift because it was so pretty. I'm not sure if the one I received had a defective spout, or if they are all like that. It arrived quickly though.

Teapot arrived by FedEx. Very nice driver. That part was much better than the last order I did. Opened up and the very bottom of tea pot had a small dent. I would expect for the price it would be in perfect condition. I kept it because I didn’t want to go to the trouble of taking back, reordering and the same thing happening.

Everything Laura Ashley is always, so pretty, it looks so great in my kitchen with my green tile, and it really adds to the shabby chic this of the house. I absolutely love it and I've been wanting it for a long time and I'm really really glad I got it. don't hesitate don't miss out. This is a beautiful tea pot.

Covered in mold

I ordered this tea kettle and was so excited to receive it. Finally it was delivered. I opened up the Macy’s box and noticed the box smelled musty. When I took out the box for the tea kettle it smelled like mold. I took the lid off of the kettle and the inside was covered in mold. Whoever packaged this product clearly lacked customer service skills because that should have never been allowed to be sold to a customer. I called to have a new one shipped and the woman accidentally refunded it. I used a coupon code on the initial purchase, so now if I want to reorder the tea kettle I have to pay full price which means I will have to pay even more money. I’m beyond disappointed with how everything-from being sold a moldy tea kettle to not being sent a new one-was handled.

Cutest tea kettle!

Beautiful kettle! I wasn't sure about the handle design in the pictures, but when I first used it I loved it. When you tilt to pour your hand doesn't get flash steamed because it doesn't sit above the spout like it would with the standard tea kettle handle design. I took a picture of it on my back porch so you can really see what it looks like in natural light.

Kettle handle gets very very hot but good looks

Kettle Design is pretty . However you will burn your hand when trying to hold it without mitten , the handle has plastic coating but it gets really hot . Boils water pretty faster than other kettles I have .
