I have had this product in my arsenal for quite some time, but rarely get around to using it since I rotate with several other loose and pressed powders (I'm currently having a love affair with Hourglass!). I decided to try this yesterday, using it for the first time along with the Laura Mercier Velour Puff which is recommended for use with this powder. It...did not go as well as hoped. Using the puff applied waaay too much product, so I inadvertently practiced 'baking' over my entire face when trying to tone it down! Apart from that one off disaster though, this powder is gorgeous. When I apply it as normal with a very soft ,loose, fluffy brush, it beautifully blurs pores, doesn't settle into under-eye creases, and leaves behind a velvety finish. Unlike a lot of 'setting' powders, this actually DOES set your make-up enough to last all day, i have normal skin type, but even I would get shiny patches from touching my face during the day, however, this keeps my make-up matte and in place without my usual setting spray. Even though I use this in rotation with others the full size pot does last for ages too, less is more and a little goes a long way!
