Killer mics. Amazing on drum overheads, which is where I use them the most. The trick is to set the high cut to 15k. Great value!

This set has some nice features, I haven't seen any budget mic with these features, so this is definitely its strong point. The build quality is reasonable, but the AKG perception 170 is much better. What is most important for any small diaphragm mic is the self noise. For this it is quite acceptable. But according to my own tests the Avantone CK-1 was better. All in all, it is a good mic to have in your locker because it has a "different" quality that is nice to have.
