Lavazza Creme Egusto is my idea of coffee heaven. It really does pack a punch and you absolutely can tell from the smell and aroma that it’s definitely going to be strong. This as an espresso is fantastic, or if your preference is a cafetiere with or without milk you can’t go wrong. A beautiful blend with a hint of spice that gives it a very distinct and unique flavour.

I used this to make espresso for lattes. It produced a really good crema and works well as a milk based drink. The flavour is slightly bitter but quite smooth and drinkable. Wouldn't call it strong but it has a nice taste.

I received the LAVAZZA CREME GUSTO coffee as a substitute.Plus I have avoided any TEA for about 50 years. The coffee is okay; but expensive.Made it in a cafeteria in my wheelchair; easy. Even the ASDA coffee equaled this & certainly cheaper. So your call.. It's shelf life is almost TWO YEARS

We used Lavazza Famiglia Espresso for about 30 years, then it was discontinued. We have been searching for a new espresso for about a year. We finally tried Lavazza Crema E Gusto and it is delicious. It is rated an eight on the intensity scale which how we like it. We make it in a Gaggia Classic Espresso Machine. Finally a wonderful replacement for Lavazza Famiglia.
This is my favourite ground coffee I have tried so far. It is strong without being bitter.I didn't think it would be as creamy as it is- I don't usually drink my coffee black but you just don't need milk with this. I tried it with and without and definitely preferred it without. Will definitely purchase again.
This is 70% robusta and 30% arabica (rather than Qualita Rossa's 30% and 70%) which means it's got quite a lot more caffeine in. It does a pretty good espresso in my moka pot, keeps me going better through the day. I have it with some sugar neat - it is a bit bitter but classier than a lot of supermarket own-brand dark-roasted espresso coffee which you'll gag on. This is comparatively merciful, a bit harsh but it's got a good aftertaste and it's mixed with some of those Lavazza sweet liquoricy arabica flavours. I suspect it's a bit too bitter for 'long' drinks i.e. where you add milk etc, but I don't know for sure.
Excellent coffee. Works brilliantly in my espresso machine. Strong but not harsh. Not cheap but you can taste the quality.
This coffee has a strength of 7/10 so it is petty strong. Perfect cup to wake up with in the morning (I prefer it with some milk in) or to keep you going in the afternoon. I make it in a French press, leave it in for a few min before pouring. Really good taste, and I will definitely buy again.
This ground coffee by Lavazza is absolutely delicious. It makes a wonderfully creamy, strong and luxurious cup of coffee that does not give a bitter after taste like so many other coffees do. I would definitely recommend trying this product!
I love this coffee, it can be as rich oras weak as you like. Perfect taste. Ihave 2 mugs a day and a packet lasts me a week. However, Asda have increased the price 50p since last week, every single item I order has gone up and not just 10p here and there 50ps and £1's. So as much as I love this coffee and asda, I'll be buying elsewhere due yo the big jump in price
