Easy ordering-proces, delivery as communicated and in time. We don't have the purple variation in the Netherlands and it's a very nice 'surprising' coffee to me. Good strong taste and blend...a treat to drink and enjoy on a daily bases.

Eco ... ish

I was offered these by Ocado in return for an honest review which I am happy to give. Coffee pods are not an Eco way of making coffee, so these being compostable must be a help, but ... you can't home compost them and where I live the Local Authority doesn't collect food waste for composting, so unfortunately that doesn't really help. The coffee is OK as you might expect from Lavazza, but that is only after scooping it out of the pod and brewing it a different way.

I thought I was being environmentally friendly...

...but the box says do not dispose of in home compost systems, or garden waste bins. So how on earth do I recycle them??? I have a composter, and I have a garden and food waste bin, but no other option. A shame really, these arent all they appear on the packet.

Only eco by name

I?m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. Not a huge coffee fan but do like the odd espresso from time to time and this did the trick as I was fortunate to be able to try these at a friends who had the right machine. However like with others I found the compost claim a bit hard to understand.

Perfectly compostable where I live

These are compostable where we are as our council collects food waste. If yours doesnt then just dont buy!?!

Questionable Eco credentials

Tried these as they were free to review. The pods were fine and tasted ok, but I am loathed to support the word ?Eco? on any kind of coffee pod - much more sustainable to get a bag of coffee, or, better still, not buy coffee at all, given the food miles.

Taste ok but can?t compost

I was sent these by Ocado in order to leave a review. I found the taste was OK, not very strong, but you can?t put them in a garden waste bin as you can certain types of compostable wrapping as the local refuse collectors won?t take them. Now confused as to whether I can put them in recycling bin or not.

Tasteless.

Bought when on offer and even then, its not a good deal because its tasteless. Its very watery almost filter coffee Ill stick with my usual from now on. I wanted to give a try because of the offer and being open minded and Lavazza is a decent name in the business, but very disappointed
