I'm a great coffee lover and when I want to drink a very good coffee for cuddling myself I choose this kind of coffee that represents a fantastic reward. The elements I like the most are the smell ,the flavour and the taste : all of them are intense and strong and the backtaste is pleasantly long lasting. The packaging is very distinctive and eye catching and guarantees a good preservation of the coffee.

Ive loved Lavazza ncoffee for years. It seemed to be by far the best ground coffee for my espresso machine. However, the taste is now quite bitter. I wont be buying it again. I imagine they have changed the beans for cost purposes its definitely not the same.
I love coffee but not coffee that tastes overly sour or bitter and prefer coffee with notes of chocolate. This coffee is pretty well balanced and I get a good amount of crema with it but have tried other beans I thought were superior to this. Good enough for everyday coffee but I prefer something else. I've tried several of the Lavazza blends and IMO the ones I have tried have all been that way. Still enjoy trying new things and will continue to do so.
Lifelong customer here, sadly the recent batches have been defective, as the Lavazza coffee now tastes burnt and peppery, leaving the most vile aftertaste, thereby rendering it undrinkable and substandard. Never has such been the case in all the years of drinking this particular blend. We made the coffee through the usual means, including our espresso machine, bialetti and even the cafetiere, with the awful taste still being present regardless of the method, hence theres clearly been a production issue. Have no choice but to find an alternative coffee going forward.
I ordered these Lavazza Qualita Rossa beans to use in my bean to cup machine at home. I’ve previously used the ground version but freshly ground beans definitely add to the the freshness of the brew. The Qualita Rossa is a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans which has a full bodied flavour, with a slight taste of cacao. I’ve found it to be quite versatile and it works equally well as an espresso or in a latte. Great value at the Asda rollback price too!
We had high hopes after reading so many great reviews, and expected "creamy/smooth/chocolate" notes based on other reviewers - but this coffee was a major disappointment for us. We've tried preparing it several different ways in our Jura E8... coffee, espresso, flat white, cappuccino.... we changed the grind settings, aroma settings, water pour settings... but every single cup tasted sour/citrusy/bitter or just plain stale and weak. We cannot help but think of "Folgers" every time we look at the unfinished bag now. Very disappointed :(
We've tried quite a few others but this Lavazza ground coffee is the BEST. Small vacuum sealed packs keep it tasting fresh, time after time. We would recommend giving it a try, if you like good quality strong coffee. It's the best possible start to the day!
hard to rate something like coffee bcs it's down to personal taste but I never seem to enjoy Lavazza, either when tried in a cafe or at home. No discerning flavour that makes me want to drink it again, or enjoy it really and this was awful, had some weird slightly acrid dusty flavour to it. i know, hard to describe but never buying that brand again. find the Asda Extra Special Java a much nicer flavour, full, fruity etc but this, meeeeeeeeeh no thanks. for flavour reference i can't stand starbucks but don't mind Costa or Dunelm or Nero.
