Ordered a blue pot, came jn a box that shows it is orange. Worries I opened the box, it was blue afterall. Any time a different box is used like this, is at the outlets?!? Then the stick on bottom of pot does not come off easy. I had to soak, then use goo be gone to get it off!?! Last there is this hideous sticker across my expensive pot?!? LeCreuset is not stamped on the pot, nope just a cheesy cheap sticker. If I wouldn't have gotten a sale price and used a reward certificate, I would have returned it for sure! UghLost me as a customer for sure Williams Sonoma,Shame on you!

I’m slowly collecting Le Creuset pieces and I’m up to around 8 or so. I bought this stockpot but immediately regretted it as soon as I opened the box. It feels super cheap in person and mine arrived with scratches already on the inside lid. Definitely not worth the money like other items from this brand.

I purchased this stock pot to add to the other sizes I recently purchased. It is a perfect size for a multitude of dishes. The weight is great. It is not in the class with the cast iron Le Creuset cookware and neither is it in the price range. If you handle it gently, clean it properly and don't leave your food unattended; this pot shall be of use for a long time. I am very happy and pleased to have it. I will very soon invest in the cast iron cookware. I have quite a bit of the bakeware and I love it all. Invest in this stockpot, you won't regret it. I am awaiting the 16 qt. to come back in stock and then I will have all sizes. I purchased the Cerise (cherry)

Great for steaming, not for boiling...
30 December 2017

This enamel coated pot heats up fast. The enamel coating is not good for high heat...because it's not needed. I use this on my gas range and even at the lowest fire, this pot retains heat fast. When you purchase Le Creuset within its stores, the associates will kindly educate you how to use their products. You're given instructions on paper, which I think is imperative for us to learn if we want to see great results and for the sake of longevity of our prized Le Creuset. With that said, the enamel pots are not intended for boiling or cooking at high heat. Hole in the handle and lackluster claims process
17 December 2022

This pot is 6 months old, and while using it recently I found rust water leaking onto my stove top. There’s a hole in the handle. I filed a claim with le cresuet and they accepted the return, though they don’t do free returns so I was on the hook $40+ for shipping. No guarantee that I’ll get the same color in return. So this pot ultimately cost me $150+. Buyer beware. Will not buy LC enamel pots ever again, as my first one chipped on the handles and on the interior as well.

It is a pity that the store does not value its cus
27 April 2023

I finally got it, but one of the four pots was with a factory defect, there were problems both inside and outside. Before sending it to the warehouse, they don't look, the box was without squabbles and damage, but inside there is a pot with a huge defect. I contacted support, and they told me that the problematic one should be returned, then get a new one. But I ordered to another country, forwarders delivered, so it will be much cheaper to send back a pot with a defect than the pot itself costs. It is a pity that the store does not value its customers.

It's a big pot with limited use.
6 July 2021

I have a big family who loves my meatballs. I cook them right in the sauce. Loved the size of this stock pot as it will hold at least 3 dozen meatballs. If I make more, I use my cast iron enameled pots. Leaving both on the stove to simmer, time after time, the sauce burns on the bottom of this pot. If you stir it you effect the taste of the sauce. As the name implies, use it only for stock. As it's only good for stock, I question if it's worth taking up so much room in my cupboard. Cleaning was very difficult. Soaked with cold water, soaked with water and baking soda on the stove and used Bar Keepers. It took quite a few tries to get the burn off.

Lightweight, great for everyday
29 December 2013

We primarily use our stockpots for making pasta, soup, boiling corn and crabs. I chose Le Creuset because we love the ease of the enameled finish, and the excellent heat retention, and we wanted a lightweight pot that was still manageable when full of water and food. This pot is miles better at heating and retaining heat than the cheap models I've bought in the past from department stores - but it's not perfect. The bottom still gets hot spots, hence I docked a star, but unless I am going for a much heavier, and difficult to handle, pot this is the best I've found. However, this is still an enameled product, and still requires care like all of them - don't use metal utensils, don't heat without liquid inside... LC is up front about the care of the pot, and the only glitch we've had is forgetting and using a metal spoon, we chipped the enamel i the bottom. That is OUR fault.A NOTE ON COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE:Some customers believe that the Thai/Chinese made products - which are generally all the stoneware or steel items - are inferior.Being made in France is no guarantee in and of itself of quality - there is a massive difference between enameled cast iron and enameled stoneware or steel.... The difference in the type of product is explained well by LC, and the care and usage instructions differ accordingly. Stoneware is easy to chip in general compared to metal - this is not a function of where the product is made. Many Americans believe by default a product made in China is 'crud' - but in truth quality is dependent on the factory controls and raw materials - not on the country of origin. e.g., a secret in the designer fashion world is that the majority of a purse or garment will be made in China, with finishing touches - like handles or buttons - applied in a European country, so that the designer can put a 'made in italy/france' label on the product to preserve the cache that comes from european manufacture.Bottom line: let your experience and the experience of other consumers be your guide - not the 'Made in' mark.

Stock pot

The perfect size for stock and soup. It is very sturdy. Cleans up really well. A beautiful piece of cooking equipment. It is what you would expect for Le Creuset. I am never disappointed with their products.

The best stockpot ever
25 March 2023

I was searching for a stockpot to make turkey stock and was thrilled to find this beautiful 10 quart pot- I really did want something just slightly bigger than my 8 quart. This pot is awesome, and cleans up spectacularly, even though it isn't a traditional teflon or nonstick surface - it's enameled. I made Rice Krispie treats in it and the sticky marshmallow cleaned up with shocking ease! On top of that, this pot is so incredibly beautiful. I'm tempted to leave it on my stove to show it off.
