I've had a couple of Le Creuset products for years, and recently added this beautiful dish that not only bakes perfectly, but decorates my kitchen as well. Most importantly - I don't have to oil it for baking. It's enough to just heat it on high temperature and place that cake or whatever I'm baking. It sears momentarily, and it's easy to remove and wash the dish afterwards. And, of course, I expect it to last for many years like other Le Creuset products.To summarise it - a baking dish like this and their cast iron casserole should be a must in every cook's kitchen.

Love my new square oven dish. The size is just great and wonderful for all of my winter casseroles. I can easily feed 3-4 people with a decent appetite. The height of this square dish is really good, not too shallow, so you have no fear of overflowing. There is room to put a piece of foil on top (without touching the food) to prevent your food from getting too brown on top too quickly . Absolutely love this square this in a lovely blue colour

I ordered this in Sea Salt, but when it arrived, it was actually light blue. Very disappointed in the color. I have another piece in ?Sea Salt,? and it was the same. I had ordered this dish for Thanksgiving, so I kept it.This ?Square Baker? is actually higher on the sides, much more like a deep casserole, than a baking dish. I did not realize or see the depth given, when I ordered it. I will probably not use it for baking, but it works well as an oven-to-table casserole or serving dish for foods, such as mashed potatoes or pastas.Le Creuset?s quality remains the same - unbeatable - but I was personally disappointed in

My granddaughter's Christmas present. She specifically asked for this dish and was thrilled to find it under the tree. She used it already and sent photos of her dinner. She is an avid fan of Le Creuset as am I, a long time fan with many pieces. Never been disappointed in any of them.
Delighted with the lovely green lasagne dish by Le Crueset. Beautifully packaged too. A present for my daughter. She texted me a picture the next day of a delicious looking dish filled with bubbling lasagne! Her cat Matilda has taken over the box and filling as new sleeping quarters. I ordered an small rectangular dish to replace one I had that had broken. The replacement is not a good match. Its smaller and the colour is different. The old dish was lower, longer and wider - 1.5 L. The new dish is smaller - 1.1 L, short, deeper, a different colour and overall not the same for cooking purposes.
I purchased this after my dish from @2011 met a sad demise when housemate cooked french fries with it in oven and set hot dish on electric burner element on stove, despite stove had not been in use. Who would have thought it'd be so hard to find the right blue to match former dish. After returning a wrong colored replacement purchased thru WS (did not try to warranty bc of age of product) WS retail store staff told me always set casserole dish on DISH TOWEL OVEN MITT, HOT PAD - or something fabric - when removing from oven. Dish sensitive to shock if placed on cold/room temp surface. Apparently I must have always placed it on a hot pad in the past. But housemate was unaware of that.Other thing to note, do not use metal utensil when serving. It will leave grey ... These look great in my home. I bought all 3 sizes and they nest together easily for storage. I bought the new azure colour and it's stunning. They're a very good looking oven to table choice. Feel thick and robust, but not overly heavy at the same time, and were super easy to clean - almost as good as a non-stick pan! Really happy with this purchase. They just feel like such great quality.
I use it frequently as a baking pan for dinner entrees, meat, fish, poultry, pasta, everything. It's easy to clean. Beautiful design and color. Perfect size. It can go in the microwave when I need to par boil potatoes or defrost something quickly. So versatile.
We needed a 2-person casserole/lasagne dish and this has proved ideal. We have also used it for Shepherd's Pie and a couple of similar dishes where we need high sides, but not large volume. We are careful to heat and cool gradually because we understand earthenware is more sensitive than the other Creuset products.
