This is such a versatile dish. We love cooking with this dish. It’s very sturdy, bakes and cooks very well. Easy to clean. It’s made of very high quality materials. The size is perfect for our family dinners and desserts. The color is so beautiful. The top acts as a serving dish as well. Love it!

This is for the worst bait & switch ever...WS - you have to get it together. Ordered this pan in Agave #8847252 on sale for $99 on 11-30-23. Was supposed to arrive 12-11 or 12 in time for Christmas (yes it was a Christmas gift). 12-16-23 received an update that it wouldn't arrive until January 8 or 9, 2024. Well...missed Christmas but okay. 1-13-24 received order update it would now arrive 1-29 or 30. At this point it's comical so let's see what happens. 1.27.24: update it would now arrive March 4 or 5, 2024. March 2 received update: will now arrive April 12 or 15. March 7: update that they won't have the pan in the foreseeable future so have cancelled the order.

Almost love it....but not for morning eggs

Bought this on sale after falling in love with a Le Creuset oval roaster I received as a gift. Bought this intending to use it for my daily morning eggs (fried, scrambled, or omelettes). However it is not ideal for delicate foods like eggs. No matter how much oil you use, it is no where near non-stick. The eggs inevitably end up difficult to flip or maneuver in the pan and alot of it ends up stuck on the pan. I've tried every recommendation including preheating appropriately, avoiding too high heat, etc. Always the same result with stuck eggs. It requires soaking for 10 minutes before you can easily clean the pan.Otherwise it is wonderful. For the few times I use it for sauntering veggies, searing meat, frying burgers, etc it is wonderful.Very pretty in ... MoreBought this on sale after falling in love with a Le Creuset oval roaster I received as a gift. Best fry pan EVER!
11 January 2024

I have always wanted a LeCreuset fry pan but didn’t want to be too “Spendy” on a pan I may not like. So, when I saw your 50 percent off plus free shipping I decided to “go for it”! So happy I did!!! Absolutely love the color, depth, size and how well it works. We use it everyday. (I also purchased the silicone handle as we use it in the oven too. Very pleased.

Best pan I have for a myriad of applications
10 September 2024

Have had my le crueset cookware for years and love every piece for its own sake. This particular pan is a workhorse for me. I bake my buttermilk biscuits exclusively in it and they always turn out flawless. Also use it for searing, sautéing and finishing off in the oven. I am glad that I bit the proverbial bullet and paid the big bucks for all of my le crueset cookware when I did .... Phenomenal investment and all the pieces fit in well with the few other ceramic and stainless steel cookware in my kitchen.

Disappointing
29 March 2023

DisappointingI was so excited when I purchased this product! I've always heard that cooking chicken or steak in a cast iron skillet would give me a nice crispy crust but, let me tell you, no matter what I use for seasoning and oil, the food sticks and most of the seasoning stays in the skillet. My cutlets or steaks come out with no crust at all and they end up cooking, like steaming, not searing or frying. The seasoning in the skillet burn and it's so hard to clean! My skillet always have food residue after I wash, no matter how much I scrub. I did buy the Le Creuset cleaner but I haven't tried it yet so I can't give my opinion about it. I'm so disappointed with this skillet! It is beautiful but that's all.

Great Tea Kettle
16 June 2021

I have been looking online for a new kettle. I read reviews of many, including this one. Of course, there are negative comments on everything these days. So here is my review, simple: Follow the very short instructions with the kettle. I know sounds very silly, it's a kettle, fill with water, heat & enjoy. Yes, but the complaints made sense when I started using the kettle and I'll explain why. Don't overfill the kettle, there are clear picture instructions on how much water can go in this, it was not made to be filled to the top, so don't do that. Yes, after it boils the water, have a bit of patience, the boiling water will splatter if you don't wait 10 seconds after taking off the heat for water to stop boiling, makes sense. The whistle might be loud, I wouldn't know, because I don't leave the room when I put this on the stove to heat up, it heats up quickly, the whistle is actually soft-sounding, because I remove it from the heat as soon as it starts to whistle. And if you don't leave the room for the short amount of time, you won't boil all your water away which is a bad thing for the kettle to perform for a very long time. Yes, the lid is very snug, I want the lid to fit snug so when it starts boiling nothing spills out the lid. Oh, and if you let this kettle boil for too long, I am positive that is why the handle gets too hot, the handle was perfectly fine because I took it off the heat when it started whistling. The instructions also recommend not heating up more water until the kettle cools back down, and also to empty the water when done using for the day, so you don't get a build up of residue from the water evaporating which affects the inside of the pot and the quality of your tea. I hope that resolves the issues that people are seeing. Personally, I love this color, my picture makes it look more teal, it's really closer to olive than teal, love it, that is what I wanted. I wanted a tea kettle to make a few mugs of tea at a time and that is what this does.

LeCreuset 9”skillet
15 December 2023

I ordered a LeCreuset skillet for my husband for Christmas and he loves this skillet. We have one other Dutch oven by LeCreuset and loved it we bought the skillet. It’s a fabulous skillet for cooking eggs which what we bought it for. We love it so much we bought two more for gifts for Christmas for out 2 adult children! You can’t go wrong with these skillets at that price. These are skillets for a lifetime!

Looks nice but not made to last
11 December 2023

Looks great but unfortunately not made to last. We’ve had for 14 months and it’s used daily. However, after the first month of use the grey exterior near the bottom of the pot started chipping. We are gentle with the pot and it stays in the same kitchen area. The chipped areas have resulted in rust spots on the interior. It’s a shame because this was a gift. We expect more from this brand.
