This does such a great job. We use it primarily to roast vegetables and it does so very evenly and quickly. We, love having a ready cover available too to minimize foil/plastic wrap. AND it's the easiest pan to clean! My only caveat is that it is heavy, so you'll want to select an easy access place for storage. We have open shelving and love looking at it - the color really goes will with the rest of our kitchen.... Show more

We bought this about a month ago after wanting something rectangular that also had a lid for cooking. We recently purchased the Le Creuset Dutch Oven (which we LOVE) so we were very much hoping Le Creuset had something. They did and it is wonderful! We cooked spare ribs in it and they came out just perfect! Instead of tin foil...I just popped the lid on and it was good to go. It is a really great size too. I was able to fit (4) boneless short ribs in without any issues. The clean up was great too! Everything came right off, granted it was the first time we used it but I can't imagine it being very difficult in the future. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and the price can't beat especially for Le Creuset.... Show more

After reading the reviews I was apprehensive, however when it arrived I was so happy i added this piece to my Le Creuset Marseilles collection. This casserole dish is perfect for small batches and will be used this coming Thanksgiving. Worth every penny and will look forward to buying more pieces in the future.... Show more

I already own this and bought it as a Xmas gift for my sister in law. It arrived wrapped in paper and foam — no box — in a Bloomie’s bag inside a battered box. The lid was not even and did not fit properly. Returned. I bought my first Le Creuset pot in the 90/ while living in Europe. Without a doubt the quality of their products has suffered with the growth of their popularity in the US, which is such a shame.... Show more

Le Creuset is not manufactured in Le Creuset France as the previous reviewer mentioned. It is manufactured in Fresnoy-le-Grand, France, and is a high-quality enameled cast iron product. I have most of the items purchased in the early 60's, and they are still in great shape and will be passed on to future generations. The newer stone products that Le Creuset is now selling are indeed manufactured in China and Thailand, but they are not inferior quality and certainly not reproductions, which denotes knock-offs. They are the same high quality that Le Creuset demands of their products. You should know the difference between the stone products and the enameled cast iron products.... Show more
