I called Wayfair to complain and they had a second one sent out and donated the first. That one has the same problem! I do not have this problem with other Le Creuset bakware with lids that I own. Incidentally, the product arrived in some basic cardboard box, not a printed promotional box like most products come in or my other Le Creuset has. I think they are shipping seconds, not sure. But definitely not worth it if the product defective.

Bargain of the season!!!! My daughter has wanted a baker from Le Creuset for a very long time!!! I got this for her Birthday!! She absolutely loves it!! She has it sitting IOn top of her stove!!! A great buy and I am considering a couple more pieces before they sell out!!!

I have a Le Creuset Dutch Oven which has the words “Le Creuset “embossed into the ceramic . But it performs like the? Real Le Creuset. I’m not sure. But don’t let that stop your purchase because it’s a great covered casserole dish.

The item was not what I expected to receive. When I ordered the covered casserole baking dish, the picture appeared to be red. However, the color received was a harsh orange color. I will be returning the item, but I am extremely disappointed that, not only did I receive an undesirable colored dish, now, I must pay to return the baking dish. Very disappointed!!
This stoneware casserole is gorgeous. It arrived very well packaged and in perfect condition. I haven't used it yet, but it promises to be my go-to casserole pan. This is a heavy casserole, so if you have difficulty lifting, this would not be a good choice for folks with arthritis or carpel tunnel issues.Pros: Beautiful finish and presentationCons: Probably too heavy for people with arthritis
I own several LeCreuset pieces, I'm a BIG fan of the product. I enjoy using my LeCreuset heritage baker for so many reasons but the number 1 reason is the fact that whatever I'm baking from baked chicken to Shepard's pie it's cooking time is so much quicker and when it's time to clean my heritage baker all I need is soap & water, no scrubbing and no fuss. Love love love Le Creuset!! FIVE STARS
I already own this and bought it as a Xmas gift for my sister in law. It arrived wrapped in paper and foam — no box — in a Bloomie’s bag inside a battered box. The lid was not even and did not fit properly. Returned. I bought my first Le Creuset pot in the 90/ while living in Europe. Without a doubt the quality of their products has suffered with the growth of their popularity in the US, which is such a shame.
Made in China- not in France.This important detail was not easy to find. The item is pretty, but I'm disappointed that this piece cost over $120, yet is made in China.I thought all Le Creuset items were made in France, as this is a key selling point of this product line.
Very pretty, but heavy. Perfect for a casual dinner with family and friends. I selected the light blue color and it is very pleasant. I love creuset and this is a great addition to my collection
Worth the investment, best lasagne and meatloaf in this. Its so nice to have a casserole dish/ baking dish with cover. I really dislike the idea of using tin foil so this is great as it traps in moisture and heat for even cooking. I would say this is in my top 5 of Le Creuset items you should own.
