I got the pumpkin colored (persimmons) version of this pot. It's as advertised and seems to be of the same high quality that Le Creuset is known for. No blemishes at all. I haven't used it to cook yet so maybe I should really wait to review, but it looks very nice. The design is so elegant. That handle is something. I had been thinking of the Staub pumpkin cocotte, but this one simply looked better. Additionally, the Le Creuset has more capacity and weighs less. That's what sold me on it this most.

Even more striking than the online photos.. I am so excited to add this beautiful piece to my set. Perfect for holiday flair. I leave it out on the stove as a decorative piece when I am not using it.

it was not the pumpkin color but the grey stone color that my daughter in love wanted. she and my son are delighted with it. They treasure all the Le Creuset that I have given them over the years.

After three attempts at delivery, Le Creuset Pumpkin Cocotte finally arrived. Item was packed securely in popcorn styrofoam. Beautiful detailing on lid, but several minor flaws in the glaze. First use of the pumpkin cocotte will be during upcoming Thanksgiving dinner. Food sticks in my other LeCreuset cookware, so hopefully cleaning is easy. Although beautiful as a centre piece, I’m unsure if the pumpkin cocotte is worth the lengthy wait time to order, delays in shipping, and high expense! Flaws in the glaze do not effect functionality, bit expect more quality control from Le Creuset!
Such a piece of art! I got this on clearance for $240. They only had the persimmon color in-store and for sale (it's not even on sale online. However, when I opened my box at home, the color inside was actually Meringue... which I want! I felt so super blest! I have had the Staub pumpkin for like 9yrs. I love it, but super delighted to have this LC one.
I bought the delightful 3.7 litre pumpkin cocotte because it was so cute. As with my other Creuset this one has not disappointed. The day after it arrived I cooked a beef stew in it and it turned out perfectly. It’s a perfect for the size of beef roasts we get. The really nice thing about Le Creuset is, as the lid fits tightly, moisture stays in. Anyway I’m really happy with the purchase.
