I have a few cast iron Dutch Ovens that are large, and weigh quite a bit. They are great when I need that size, but was looking for something smaller. This Dutch Oven is the sweet spot size for me, the absolute perfect size. And the weight, compared to my other pots, is a dream! I only cooked sweet potato casserole for Thanksgiving so far, but this is a great size for whole chicken, side dishes, bread...I can think of so much more to use this for. Was on the fence about spending so much on Le Creuset, hemmed and hawed for years, actually, then this pot came up on TSV. Love it! I actually would like a few more in this size.

I have always want a Le Creuset and I finally gave in and purchased it!! Since I’ve had it I have made some wonderful dishes in it!! The heat distributes evenly, and my food comes out perfect every time!! I don’t even know how I live without this!! It cleans up beautifully every time and looks like it’s brand new every time!! It is so beautiful I leave it sitting on my stove top so I can admire it…. It is a beautiful vessel and I couldn’t be happier!! Thank you QVC for making it possible for me to purchase and enjoy having this amazing Le Creuset… looking forward to my next Le Creuset!!!

I was excited to get this TSV. first we got an email,that we wouldn’t receive it in time for Thanksgiving cooking….but then that was reversed….well, we received the pot today only to find the color in NO WAY matched my previously purchased LeCreuset cookware. I have the meringue set which is a white color. the one I received today looks like burnt almond. so, not only can it NOT be used for Thanksgiving anyway, I have to return it. so disappointed. they are great cookware but sad I won’t have this additional piece to compliment my set. I would recommend this cookware but hesitant to purchase again without seeing in person

I purchased this in the meringue color for my sister for a Christmas gift. When it arrived, I was so impressed that I decided to keep it for myself! (Ordered another for her!). It’s a really great size at 4.5 quarts and can be used EVERY DAY! Great for two or three people. It cooks fantastic, retains heat for a long time, and cleans up beautifully! Love the variety of colors. The price was great as a TSV but wasn’t happy that it was reduced shipping instead of FREE. Any TSV should always come with free shipping. Just saying. Le Creuset is truly one of the best dutch ovens on the market today. Fellow cooks, watch for the sales on QVC for this one and when the price is to your liking, RUN TO THE PHONE!
Oh my goodness, the meringue color is so beautiful and it’s the perfect size! I am a recent widow; and I want to start cooking more healthy meals, and make soups for the freezer. I learned so much from your TSV presentations; that you can cook everything in the LeCreuset cast iron. So I think I’m going to order another one, to bake bread in. Was going to get the deep teal but by the time I had made my mind up it had sold out, so opted for the satin black. A few days later I decided to look up Le Creueset on Q.V.C. to see what else they had in this range, I was thinking over time I would build a collection of Le Creueset, I saw the deep round grill pan being offered at a great price and on easy pay. Here is where the problem starts, No satin black only in Cerise, deep teal and volcanic. If you’re going to offer us a variety of colours then make sure there is continuity across this range. So people can build a collection in the same colour. I have waited a long time to start my own Le Creuset collection. I love to cook, and I've always heard such great things about the Le Creuset brand. However, they are quite pricey! I finally decided to splurge on the 5.5 Round Dutch Oven - and I am so glad I did! I've made stuffed peppers, marinara sauce and a pot of soup so far. It warms up quickly and cooks so evenly - its amazing. On top of everything, clean-up is a joy. It just wipes clean. I purchased the Meringue color and it is gorgeous! My biggest decision now is whether to collect all the same color - or mix them up! Either way, my collection will definitely be growing.

The enameled pots are also so easy to cook in and easy to clean. This oval dutch oven will be perfect for roasting smaller roaster chickens and making soups & stews. I don't put them away, they are like gorgeous jewels on my stove top! I found when my pots start getting baked on brown stains, I can easily clean them using hot water almost to the top, with about 1 to 2 cups of white vinegar (depending on the size of the pot). I let that soak in the pot on med high temp (not quite boiling) for about 15 mins. This is my first purchase of any Le Creuset product. So, I decided to cook a cheese & potato omelet in it. At first I noticed that everything was sticking...the potatoes, the cheese, the eggs. Oh, NO! So, I took a deep breath and waited until it cooled then put it in the sink with warm soapy water and waited 15 minutes. Wow, was I surprised how easily everything came off! As many others, I am keeping mine on my stove as it looks so nice with my yellow Kitchen-Aide mixer. It really is the perfect size for many, many dishes. The yellow color gives my kitchen a pop of color!
I got one of these as a wedding gift almost 20 years ago from a John Lewis wedding gift list service. Although the price seems a lot for a casserole dish, the quality of these pots is incredible and only eclipsed by the amazing customer support I have received from Le Creuset. After being used almost daily for so many years we noticed some of the enamel was wearing away inside the pot. I emailed the Le Creuset UK helpline and attached photos of the pot. They were incredibly helpful and offered to send out a free replacement which arrived a few days later. TBH I thought 20 years of service was a good innings but Le Creuset really mean it when they guarantee these things for life.
