There’s a trivet for everyone and every trivet has its place. With that said, I feel I must say that I love Le Creuset with my whole heart. I have been fortunate enough to have been gifted with their beautiful pans and cookware. This trivet felt less substantial than I was expecting. It is made of a rubbery material and the color seems dull after a few uses.

I have them and then bought more. So versatile use them whenever a coaster is needed. The large fit perfect under my Waterford carafe at the table. Keeps the bottom of the glass from getting scratched. Great fit under the coffee pot and also serving bowls.

I was delighted with my first Le Creuset French Trivet until I accidentally left it on a burner on high and left the kitchen to be with my guests. You can imagine that after a while almost anything will burn, however, I loved it so much I had to get a replacement! Message learnt. Krysia
I have a glass dining room table, and i like to use trivets to put a hot pot of rice, a pot of beans, and another hot plate with meat on the glass table. I purchased this item thinking it was cast iron. to my surprise it was plastic! or silicone as they call it! I have no use for that!i threw mine away!
I received this and it will be a great addition to the few trivets I have already. It is a thick 1/4" or so silicone trivet with the intricate design as shown in the photo. I think to our sensitive wood table I will still use my metal trivets that actually lift the hot pot off the surface of the table surface entirely, but for everything else this will be great.
For the price, this isn’t bad. My complaint is that it’s advertised as silicone/cast iron. I assumed, erroneously, that meant it was a cast iron trivet with silicone feet. Too good to be true. I can’t locate a stitch of cast iron in this thing. Basically, beware...this a cute but fully silicone trivet.
The design of the trivet was nice, however, given the price (30% more than other similar products) and lack of description I did not realise it was made of silicone.When I tried to return it, it asked for information that was not provided andtherefore not possible to return. Not happy with the quality for the price or thelack of clear information and direction to return the product.

Just re did our kitchen and have Quartz and Quartzite counters. Keep three of these quickly available for anything hot that needs to touch the counter. I love the color. Perfect type of aqua/teal. Very durable, easy to wash, spill on, etc. Very durable.
