I'd rate the dishes at 4 stars. One of the plate with hair line cracked when used in microwave. Sur La Table is too hard to do business with as the plate will not be replaced till I return the defective one first. I had to return the dinner plates as incorrect color and I was issue an in store credit. Sur La Table does not have plain white at this time therefore I have no dinner plates.Policy is not customer friendly, I'd have to think twice prior to order anything from the company in the future. I'd like a callback from management if they really concern about customers. I'd not recommending Sur La Table to friends or family at this time.I can be reached at 503-840-4151. Each one is beautiful. These were purchased to have as backups and to replace two plates that were damaged over the years. The colour matches our original set, very pleased about that.Durable and pretty, these plates have a good weight to them.

I had originally ordered the minimalist in blueberry and they just are not as nice. They seem like any other plate you can get at any store, but the classic design screams Le Creuset, so I ordered the dishes in Classic Red.Very satisfied with the colour, style and durability.
I purchased the appetizer plates to match the remainder of my Le Creuset place settings. I have everything in red as it works well for a number of seasonal holidays and gives a great pop of colour for the remainder of the year. I originally purchased them as our family's "fancier" set of dishes, but we have been using them more and more as we find them practical to pop in the oven, like when you want to melt cheese on your pasta, or make individual plates of nachos. They have been holding up well with the colour remaining vibrant and no visible marks/scratches from using steak knives on them. I'm very impressed and continue adding to my collection.
I bought the original 9.75" Le Creuset dinner plates in Marseille as part of a 16-pc set in 2010 about the time that it was released. The plates such as these--now 10.5"--are of inferior quality and too large to match the original sets. I've got four of the newer 10.5" plates and four of the original size plates. The original four have lasted far longer and are more durable than the newer ones. The newer ones chip easily and are not as thick as the previous plates.
They’re the perfect size for most meals my family eats. It was the go-to plate we typically reached for, so much so, I ordered another set of eight of this size. Just so we didn’t run out while the others were in the dishwasher.
