This buffet casserole is the perfect size for everyday use! You can braise, sauté, fry, and bake in the oven with this piece. I previously purchased this in the color nutmeg two years ago and I just purchased a second in the color sage, which I absolutely adore! Excels at any job that you use it for. My only advice to anyone who makes this purchase is to always use either wooden or silicone spoons, spatulas and whisks, instead of metal which can easily scratch this lovely vessel and also, when washing, wait until the vessel cools completely before submerging it in water so there is no thermal shock to the piece. Have had my le crueset cookware for years and love every piece for its own sake. This particular pan is a workhorse for me. I bake my buttermilk biscuits exclusively in it and they always turn out flawless. Also use it for searing, sautéing and finishing off in the oven. I am glad that I bit the proverbial bullet and paid the big bucks for all of my le crueset cookware when I did .... Phenomenal investment and all the pieces fit in well with the few other ceramic and stainless steel cookware in my kitchen.

I was so excited to finally get my hands on a Le Creuset kettle after wanting one for years, I can’t help but be very disappointed with the quality. The Le Creuset badge seems to just be a stuck on sticker that is already starting to bubble. I contacted customer service who were very unhelpful and they said it’s just a sticker that needs to be pulled off, there was no branding on it which makes it look like every other stove top kettle now the sticker is removed. The quality of the kettle is also no better quality than my other supermarket “no name” brand stove top kettle that I use for camping. Which is disappointing considering it’s four times the price!!

Very pleased with the skillet pan. You're getting a really good quality product. Sturdy but not too heavy, well finished. Love the fact that the heat is so evenly distributed around the pan. Cooks meat and veg wonderfully! Highly recommend!I have a 26cm casserole same size as the skillet where the lid fits perfectly. JL has done a great job to have a great variety of Le Creuset goodies to shop at!
I've been cooking with Le Creuset skillets for 50 years, and they're worth every penny. They work well for stove-top cooking/searing to oven baking/roasting, such as steaks and salmon, or frittatas. We make all our enchilada fillings in Le Creuset skillets, with multiple vegetables and meats being sautéed separately, before being sauced together. The skillets are easy to clean by hand washing, then lightly rubbing with oil. They are incredibly durable; in fact, I'm still using one 48-year-old skillet.

I rarely write reviews but this pan deserves it: after 3 months of almost daily use I love it! I have many All Clad pans, their most expensive version, as well as older Le Creuset pans and Staub. This new frying pan surpassed them all for daily sautéing and frying, it’s simply marvelous. Le Creuset coating has GREATLY improved, can’t emphasize it enough. Don’t know what they did to it but the difference is very tangible, and for the better. Almost hard to believe any product has changed for the better, usually it’s the opposite these days. This is not a 10.25 inch pan. I don't know of anyone that cooks up the sides of any skillet. The bottom measures 8 inches, so that's what this is, an 8 inch pan. Only prep before use, per instructions, was to wash in hot soapy water. Bacon and eggs stuck on med low heat, WHAT? I've cooked with cast iron before, never had sticking problems. Soaking for a few minutes in hot soapy water released all food, but it never should have stuck in the first place. Not happy, I've longed for this type of cookware for years, such a huge letdown. I'll stick with what I already have, money wasted, should have read the reviews. To all that have had success, very happy for you.
I love this skillet. I've had the 10.25-inch one for a number of years and couldn't be happier with it, so I finally bought the larger size. I know these skillets aren't technically "nonstick," but they're the next best thing. If you're careful to preheat the pan, keep the heat under control, and use a little oil or butter, nothing sticks. Cleanup is easy with a little hot water and a nylon scrubber. I'm sure this skillet and all my other Le Creuset pieces will outlive me!
I bought this in Florida at an outlet store. The employee talked me out of getting a 7qt Dutch oven (which I REALLY wanted) and getting this instead. At first I questioned my decision because it was a large purchase however, I'm in absolutely in love with this and recommend it to everyone. I love to bake bread and this is similar to the bread oven but less expensive. It also a 2-in-1 purchase which is really what sold me on this. You can flip this either way depending on the depth you need. I would like more L.C cast iron pans but as I shop online I realize this pan does exactly what other pans/ovens will do. It's an investment purchase but well worth every penny!
I purchased this pot for small batch chili or curries and discovered it is great for a quick stir-fry. When I am tired and I don't feel like cooking, I cheat with seafood/chicken/beef, pre-cut veggies, frozen rice and sauce from a jar. The reason this pan is better than a typical fry pan is the bowl shape which makes it almost wok-like. I use very little oil and my food doesn't stick. On a good night, I can get dinner on the table in 15 min. And clean up is fast too. The only complaint is: I wish it had a top - not because I need it for cooking, but so that I can keep the food covered on the dinner table. The pot retains the heat, but we have a cat and I don't trust him, especially when shrimp is on the menu.
