I bought these in bamboo green, to match a similar style cup we have. I hope to increase the number we have and get rid of all the odd mugs, which make you shiver as you open the cupboard and view.Great size, not too large, not too small, and very robust. I love the bright green colour too.Hints don’t work in my family, but if they did, I’d be happy with these for my. Birthday or Christmas.

I bought this to replace my 400 cl Cornishware mug, not because there was anything wrong with that, but rather because certain poor sales policies with that company led me to buy some other Le Creuset crockery. I decided that I wanted a mug that matched the rest of my dinner set. It is indeed the same size as the Cornishware mug in the amount of liquid it holds, but because of the shape, there is a large pool of liquid if you fill it to the top and that tends to splash. I have looked for a saucer to rest the mug on, which would catch the overspill like other cups and saucers do, but there is no saucer to go with the mug, which is dissatisfying and leads me to my rating of only 3 stars. Make me a saucer and I'll give it five.
I have bought the Cerise, Caribbean, Nectar, and Palm colors of the Le Creuset 14 oz. mug (all bought within weeks of one another from Le Creuset directly). The first 3 are made in Thailand and they all match each other (apart from the color obviously). But the Palm color is different, even though it's supposed to be the same mug. First, it's made in China instead of Thailand. Second, it lacks the markings on the bottom under the clearcoat enamel with the Le Creuset logo and "400 ml | 14 oz" specification (there is just a MADE IN CHINA sticker and another sticker on the bottom, no printed-in marking). It appears to be slightly smaller and thinner than the others, and the flared edge on top is a different shape. It's not a "defective" cup per se, but you'd expect all in the same line to match each other so it's disappointing they don't, especially from Le Creuset, things like this are not a good look for the premium brand they're supposed to be.I will note that if you get the Thailand-style 14 oz. mug, it's excellent. But I can't give a good rating for this cheap version I received.
These pretty bistro cups are a wonderful size for double cappuccinos and full-sized lattes. The glaze is smooth and unstained after years of use, and the cups don't even notice being thrown in the dishwasher or microwave. I like to give them as gifts. They do low-key snobby as only Le Creuset does it. I wish they came in a wider variety of colors.
I bought every member of my family a Le Creuset mug for Christmas. I chose colours from throughout the entire range, appropriate to the receiver. Even the kids loved their mugs! The glazes Le Creuset uses are spectacular - Dark Teal a particular success. Black Satine was judged too nice to be taken back to University - it would get pinched! John Lewis packed everything beautifully in a large box and delivered it to the relatives I was spending Christmas with. I then wrapped them individually. All of us were very, very pleased.
I have this mug in another color and was really disappointed when I received the meringue color. It does not match the photo on the website and has no gradation in color. It is only one shade of white. The glaze is also quite thick so you can hardly see the Le Creuset writing. Looks low quality for the price. Wanted to return but Le Creuset does not offer free returns and the cost of covering the shipping myself wouldn't make sense given the total cost of the mug. Won't be purchasing from the website again. Buy somewhere else that covers shipping in case the quality is not as shown.

Neither mug came in a separate box & neither mug was wrapped in bubble wrap. They were rolling around loosely in the box with some brown paper when I opened them. Yikes! I am not sure where QVC quality control is??? Also, I am not sure these are real Le Creuset mugs because they say made in Thailand & all my other pieces from this brand usually have come in a separate box. I have been a QVC shopper since 1996 and I have to wonder what is going on. I was so excited to find this color as I have other pieces that match. I wanted something for hot beverages and that warming cup of soup. This soundly constructed pleaser fits the bill. Thick enough to hold heat, resist chipping and even breakage it?s safe to put in the dishwasher and on any surface. I purchased two and another shaped and colored pair to mix things up. No need for constant refills. A respectable amount yet not enough to grow cold (see thickness). I?ve bemoaned delicate beauties that scarcely hold several tablespoons worth. Lest one?s consuming espresso? Why? This serviceable mug is functional and in a pleasing form.
