These Le Creuset in the color Palm are so beautiful and so tiny! I absolutely love them for making mini pies. I really want to get them in every color at this point. I can use these in the microwave, oven and stove top, however with how small they are I will stick to the oven and a possible microwave here and their. Literally think miniature Dutch Oven! I would definitely recommend these high quality mini Cocotte’s for anyone who love mini things. Like pot pies, pies, individual servings of soups…whatever is your mind can come up with. Also their are hundreds of recipes to use with these pans on Pinterest as well.

Bought for a good friend. I haven't given her the gift yet, but think she will like it. She has a number of pieces and has cooked a couple times for me. 2 came along as a promotion with a Braiser I bought for her as well. She tends to roast garlic and infuse in olive oil and think these would be good for that. (saw that in one other review). I think these would be perfect for maybe French onion soup, or creme brulee ( hoping she will read this - hint hint - and make that for me as well!

I was excited to try a Le Creuset and see if the prices were really worth it. While it's clearly beautifully made, I'm pretty disappointed in the tiny size. It did have the dimensions listed online, which I compared to my current small crocks. However, they used measurements that include the lid and handle. The part that would hold food is not big enough for soup, even just for one. It's big enough for some warm dip or cheese for one -- but I typically would be going through the trouble of making that stuff for more than just one. So, not really sure what I'll use this for now. Without regular use, I'm not going to truly be able to see how Le Creuset holds up to other brands.

Because I don't live near a store and didn't have anyone near a store to shop for me, I now have a small collection of these mini cocottes. 2 in Agave, 1 in marseille, one 14 oz in Artichaut, and one 24 ounce Olive Branch collection in Nectar. Had I been able to see and choose in person I'd've chosen differently but they're all so lovely to display and I've found use for them. The 8 ounce minis are very small but are a good size for rich, sweet deserts that are easy to over indulge. The 14 ounce is perfect for garlic confit. I like a good amount and the 8 ounce finishes too fast. The 24 ounce is ideal for a pot pie, large desert, side or main meal. It's a good size for a bigger eater, or for a nice portion of left overs. These were splurge buys for me that give me ... MoreBecause I don't live near a store and didn't have anyone near a store to shop for me, I now have a small collection of these mini cocottes. 2 in Agave, 1 in marseille, one 14 oz in Artichaut, and one 24 ounce Olive Branch collection in Nectar. But I am no longer. The piece is fine, it is what it is, but their lifetime warranty on their cookware is a myth. I am not new to their products, I know how to care for them and when an issue came up with one piece they insisted I did something to the pan I never had and would not honor their warranty even though the expensive piece was defective. Then they offered as a courtesy to replace it, but basically still calling me a liar. If they don't honor warranty, then they are no different than their less expensive competitiors.
I got my original 4 for Christmas after looking for something for French onion soup. I love the look of them and knew they would be high quality. I was nervous they might be too small, but they are perfect! It's actually a great amount of filling French onion soup! I ended up ordering 4 more so I have 8 for my entire family. I have used them a few times and they are just perfect!!
Had to cancel. Never got the product. Waited for over a month for item to arrive. Contacted QVC multiple times about this. They said vendor has not responded. I ordered the same exact thing directly from Le Creuset instead. It was shipped the next day. I did get free shipping coupon for next item I order from QVC. Unfortunately, I am not planning on ordering any Le Creuset from QVC again. That coupon will go to another product if I use it.
I ordered the Truffle color in December when it was on sale plus free shipping. Order status said Backorder….which was fine. I’ll wait. One month later, on order status, it said cancelled. I called QVC and said the website it was now available. I explained and she ordered at the sale price with free shipping. The next day, order status said Backordered again. This week QVC cancelled again, but website said available. I ordered it in the website at the higher price with shipping. Today, showing Backorder again! QVC, either you have it or don’t! This review has no reflection on the product, but only on QVC process.!
I bought 3 cocottes the color meringue, and it looked so ugly: the handles of all of them are not fully covered with enamel. Looks like they sent me seconds or just a bunch of defective items as an oval dutch oven has chipped enamel on the lid as well. Crepe frying pan looks OK, but now I feel that I just don't see its defect yet. They don't respond due to high demand for support (I guess I know why), and I will have to wait don't know how long to resolve this problem. Christmas mood has been spoiled, and probably I will have to send the defective items for my expences because of their fault. I think it's the first and last time when I buy something from le creuset. I was waiting for it so long, and now I feel deceived
I ordered this mini cocotte during a sale so I didn't think too much about the low price. I ordered it expecting it to be small but like single-serving small. When it arrived, I opened the lighter-than-expected box and was absolutely astonished by how tiny this was! It fits in the palm of my hand! I kept it because it made me giggle. And, it really is beautiful. Will most likely use it to hold salt or something similar.
