We bought a second one of these pans so we could cook two largish potato pancakes at once. Its still early days for the new one but the older one has performed excellently for several years. The base disperses heat well (we use induction), and the shallow sides on these pans make it easy to turn the pancakes over.
These are great pans. Not inexpensive but good value. We use the pan on an induction cook top and they are quick to heat up and provide uniform heat across the pan for great results. They are easy to clean and will last for years
So far I love it, pancakes are flat and easy toCook on. Haven’t tried the crepes yet but I’m sure they’ll be great.
I've been so happy with my other Le Creuset saucepan non stick surface, I grabbed this 24" crepe pan as my current crepe pan, (different make) had started sticking & batter running to sides. It's a perfect size & it fits the hob heat zone exactly. Also I read instruction book & learnt NOT to use Olive Oil on the cooking surface.
Very effective nonslip surface. Perfect size for crepes, also great for pikelets. Easy to clean. A high quality product that works well on induction cooktop.
