Love my new purchase & hope to buy more pots from this Le Creuset collection.I broiled some pork ribs using this pot recently & honestly the 20cm pot is so deep, it held 10 medium/big ribs neatly!Really impressed with the quality & toughened non-stick ‘does what it says on the tin’!Will be buying the 24cm & frying pan set, as well as the wok in this toughened, non-stick range! With this new pot/pan set, I’ll need to explore new recipes to cook!Worth while purchase, especially as I needed a new pot/pan set!

I bought the 8.8 litre non stick casserole and having used it twice, I'm really impressed. At £220 it's a considered purchase (for me at least) but I don't think I'd ever need to buy another in my lifetime, so money well spent. The build is very solid, but despite that it is fairly light in weight. This pot weighs 1.9kg and the lid is another 1.8kg. I bought this to replace an old cast iron pot which is around 6.7 litres, so smaller, but the old pot has a lid weight 2.5kg and I cannot weigh the actual pot as my scales only go up to 4kg! This is a great benefit as the new pot is much easier to heft around, for example when cleaning it.After cooking a lamb and spinach curry there was a small scorch mark on the base (because my stove top was dirty, no fault of the ... MoreI bought the 8.8 litre non stick casserole and having used it twice, I'm really impressed. I like to keep my cookware pristine and there is nothing worse than having to slave over cleanup. This pot was an absolute doddle to clean. Less than 5 mins and I wasn't exactly rushing.I have only one minor quibble, not enough to reduce from maximum 5 stars and that is concerning the lid. It isn't quite as tight a fit as you'd get with case iron, but if this mattered to you, some foil around the lid should sort that out. The other thing with the lid is that it is glass, which is a tad pointless as when you look through the glass you can only see steam!I'd heartily recommend this product.

This pan will cook on an Aga or on an induction hob, as well as everything else. It might seem expensive, but it cooks beautifully evenly, which is wonderful if you are browning meat for a casserole, or leaving onions to gently fry without burning. You can use it as a saute pan, as a frying pan, and even as a wok, but for me it is just the job for cooking Moroccan chicken or osso buco. There is plenty of room to brown the meat in the pan, and then you can put the whole thing in the oven.I have the 30cm size, which is perfect if you are cooking for four or six. I'm about to buy a smaller version, for cooking for two.I love the fact that it is shallow (why are there so few shallow casserole dishes on the market?) because you don't have to use loads of liquid, and ... MoreThis pan will cook on an Aga or on an induction hob, as well as everything else. It's a big pan, and it only just fits in a modern single oven. I have a combi microwave oven, and I have to take out the grill pan in order to get the whole thing in.

Pros: Simply excellent non stick pan, ideal for coming for small numbers (2-4)... Great for curries and soups. Not too heavy but has a solid feel.. Lid fits nicely. The plan also looks good aesthetically.Cons: The steel side handles get extremely hot to touch and will burn you. When I questioned the company about this they asked Le Creuset and the reply was, "they have advised that this is not a fault and that the handles will get hot due to the material they are made from.". For me, this would have put me off buying the pan even though it's really good in the ways above. I've only ever had pan handles heat up like this in cheapo plans, not ones that are expensive.
I received this product just before lockdown and this pan has been a life saviour it's been a pan which has cooked everything from scrambled eggs to beef bourguignon! Yes it is expensive but if it's anything like my old Le Creuset pans it will be handed down to my children In fifty years!! The pan itself cooks evenly, the heat distributes well on our gas hob, I'm assuming this is because of the Build quality it has a good weight behind it. The handles are a good size for my husbands large hands when draining food or for washing up!! I have used this pan everyday during lockdown and it still looks brand new as the saying goes you get what you pay for in both quality and looks! I can truly say this is none stick and perfect for cooking nearly anything! It's got a nice glass lid which has washed well and not smeared, although I have hand washed only and not washed it in the dishwasher! The pan arrived very well packaged with a instruction leaflet about the pan I used a little vegetable oil before my first use!We highly recommend this non stick casserole pan, with a lifetime guarantee, anotherLe Creuset dream pan!!
The built is sturdy, and the heat distribution is great.I have used it on the hob and also in the oven multiple times. It delivers all dishes really well. The only disappointment is the non-stick surface. It seems to have shallow scratches shortly after a few light use, I have used only wooden spoons, and not used abrasive sponges. The scratch is very faint and does not appear its function (so far), but I am disappointed considering its cost. Time will tell if this will last. The non-stick surface is not part of the warranty. I probably expected a little more for the cost.
Waited a few months before doing this review in the vain hope that the pan may improve with use.We decided to purchase this pan thinking it would be a quality product and a breeze to clean. The reality of using the pan definitely doesn’t reflect the high price we paid. It certainly feels like a well made heavy pan but everything sticks to the surface and it’s an absolute nightmare to clean. Wish we’d never bought this as it’s just not up to the job.
So disappointed with this pan. I do a lot of cooking and have used this almost every day for the past seven years. But recently the middle of the pan's surface has completely ruined and now is not non stick and looks distasteful. Its blighted and discoloured. I thought no problem I will return it to JL as it has a lifetime guarantee. To no avail as the non stick can only be exchanged by them within two years not seven. They advised me to send it to manufacturer directly. Now I can't find my original receipt even though I can clearly remember that it was bought with all the other kitchen items on my receipt.Every saucepan and stock pot I own is Le Creuset. I have a mixture of their non stick and their 3 ply stainless steel ranges. I have always persuaded my husband ... MoreSo disappointed with this pan. Stick with their s/steel range not their non stick.I cannot be asked to find a box wrap it up then post it at my own expense. John Lewis not your best day you have upset a very good customer.
