Many people love Rose 31 and an equal number do not. I think it has a complex mix of fragrance notes that result in a truly unique scent. I have never smelled anything like it. Do not expect a classic rose to dominate in this one. Yes there are hints of roses, but there are also hints of spices that give it an edge. I would suggest getting a sample or spraying it on yourself and seeing how it reacts with your body chemistry before purchasing.

Ive always been more in to fresh and aquatic fragrances, but i wanted to give floral scents a try. I was always afraid that floral scents would be too feminine, but after smelling rose31, i knew i had to have it in my collection. The intial smell gives off a good clean rose scent with a hint of spice. Because of the spice in this, it makes it work for men, as it leans masculine. It last for a good 5-6 hours on my skin before drying down in to just a sweet floral skin scent. After 5-6 hours, the spice disappears and turns in to a nice floral lotion like smell. Overall, it was a good introduction to floral fragrances as a guy, and i definently look forward to using it more during summer.

This is stunning. It opens with a bouquet of dewy rose petals and spice. I get hints of the cumin listed in the notes. As it dries down, that signature Le Labo sandalwood shines, mingling with the other wood notes to create a scent reminiscent of a stack dry firewood, with roses nestled in the middle. If you like rose, but don’t want something sweet or overly floral, give this a try! I’m obsessed.

This fragrance I keep going back to. It is subtle so if you like Something more punchy this is not for you. Lovely rose fragrance that is beautiful and the dry down is wonderful as well. It’s more natural than most perfume so this like many others I adore does not give me a headache , sneezing spells or make me feel sick. It’s pricey but I appreciate a unique scent that is not something I’ll regret later. Not the most complimented fyi. If that’s what motivates you.

Unique Scent W/ Outstanding Shopping Experience

Choosing a fragrance is best done in person. Le Lebo/Nordstrom seems to invest in and thoroughly train associates. The gentleman I worked with was able to give professional guidance, offering plenty of information as I experimented with different fragrances. Overall, this was the best shopping experience I’ve had in probably 10 years.Rose 31 is a very special fragrance that may or may not appeal to you. But it’s a must try, especially on your skin. I feel Rose 31 wears a little different on everyone. I would describe it as part subtle, part sexy.
